It's just normal when stuff turns into garbage. The SNES can only handle a limited amount of graphics at a time. Therefore, you have to sacrify some graphics, which causes the garbage.

Mr. F-Zero: There is most likely not any ExGFX file containing the graphics you need. You have to make one yourself.

KP9000: Hmm... This isn't the best way, but it works. Open up a fresh copy of a SMW ROM. Save a level and extract the graphics. Go to the 2BPP area and change the first tile into a 0, the second to a 1, the third to a 2, and so on. Import the graphics and start the game. Now, the boarder will be numbers. Now, look up that number in the tile editor and you have found them.

Sprite number 1B9 (IIRC) is a 2P controlled sprite. It's built into the game.

Are you talking about the Sprite Map16? Agh, I need to add this to the FAQ sooner or later.

Editing the sprite's MAP16 will NOT, I repeat, NOT edit the ROM. Fu put it in there in case somebody would find a way to edit the sprites manually, so that it would look correct in LM. If you want to edit the sprite's palettes, download Sprite Paint. (However, for some reason, it won't work with enemies with palette 8 (Like Monty Mole, Certain platforms, Mega Mole and others. Probably hardcoded somehow.)

I wouldn't say that the moon falls towards earth, therefore, it became a "lame guess". The moon fit with the description, but not the falling part.

Accually, the moon does fly away. IIRC, it moves away 5 cm (around 2 inches) from the earth every year.

That would probably not help. All I found was the location of the tiles the shadow uses, and the location of one or two of those mushroom/star/flower symbols. However, the neccesary data might be in the same area, so you can post it anyway. (I can't, since I somehow lost that file. Gotta check my old computer later)

If you are talking about the Layer 3 water, your rom is probably bad. Try a new one. If you are talking about Layer 1/2 water, check if you have edited the "Act Like" value in the MAP16.

Open a clean rom or an unused level. Use Super GFX bypass to load a blank MAP16 file into the two first FG files. Now open the 8x8 editor and (almost) everything that's not blank is unused.
