IIRC, it happens with the original blocks as well.

Change Rex into Goomba:

Change 19742 to 00 and 197B8 to 01
To change which palette the rex uses, figure out which palette you want to change to (only palettes from 8-F are valid for sprites). Then subtract 8. Then multiply by 2. Call this number x. You take x and add 41 hex or 65 decimal and put this new number at rom address 1987C. Then you take x and add 01 hex or 01 decimal and store this number at rom address 1987D. That should change the palette used.

For the ones who can't find the problem: Below the rightmost star, there's a piece of the fading that's missing.

If you're saying (or maybe I misunderstood) that the Chain Chomp doesn't get free, the I can tell you that you're wrong. After some time (160 GAME seconds, i think), it gets free and heads directly for Mario. If he misses or when he hits Mario, he'll fly off-screen.

According to my book in my german class, the hamburgers was created in Hamburg. (Germany, duh) There was a local thing called "hamburgers", a hamburger sized boiled meatball thingey. It was served on a paper plate and stuff. However, one day, one of the hamburger sellers ran out of paper plates. He saw that he had some left over bread and decided to cut the bread in half and put the hamburgers between them. However, this might just be a rumor...

Posted on 07-30-04 02:06 AM, in DVD Screenshots? Link
My computer have got a DVD player and I've got a few DVDs, so I'm sometimes watching movies on the computer instead of my DVD player that you plug into the TV. However, what annoys me is the fact that every DVD player I've got on my computer uses the same method to draw the movies on the screen, which makes it impossible to take screenshots from them with the normal Print Screen method.

The programs I have only shows a certain color (some kind of dark purple), and then, some higher program (probably in Windows itself) replaces that color with the movie. The problem is that it replaces the colors AFTER the Print Screen program checks for keypresses and copies the screen to the clipboard. Using Print Screen and pasting it into paint will only give you the purple color. (If the movie is still running, it will show it in paint.)

Now to my question: Is there a free (and hopefully spyware free) DVD program that aren't using this method to draw on screen or with a built in ability to take screenshots?

(For your information, I'm using Windows XP. The ones I've tried are Windows Media Player 9, WinDVD and PCfriendly DVD)

That wouldn't work. I could even save the pic, close it and the movie and reload anything. Still wouldn't work. (By the way, this does also apply to Real Player (at least the older ones. Haven't used it in a while))

Ok. I'll try that WMP thingey. Also, I guess that "Fraps" is a media player?

Found, Downloaded, Installed, Started and used Fraps. Wow, it works perfectly, exept for the fact that it stretches the pictures a bit. But it's still great! Thanks a lot for the tip, Jill!

Custom objects:
Get block tool. It comes with 350 custom blocks. If those aren't enough, learn assambley.
Custom sprites:
Next to nothing has been figured out when it comes to sprites, so it's impossible right now.

Edit: Please Don't Begin Every Word With A Capital. It's Annoying.

It seems like there's a small bug in the small text that shows when the post was edited. The top of the post shows the time it was posted in the user's local time, but the text that shows the time of the edit is shown in the server time. (Appearently, I edited my post six hours before I made it )

Also, by talking about editing... Trying to edit a poll gives... Oh wait... Never mind.

Edit: Edits the post to show the time of the edit.

The speed won't change (it will still walk slow). However, the real problem is the Mario/Sprite collision detection. Mario can get hurt by the invisible and unused upper part of the Rex.

(By the way, to increase the speed of the rex, change 19744 (ROM address) to 02 4A.)

As Prez, I will force Colleen to post a user pic for the photo album. I will drag witeasprinwow's sorry ass back here full time. I will make it so Phil is so sorry that he ever came here, that he will have no choice but to open 6 deadjournal accounts just so all of his pain and mental anguish can fit. add a new forum called "SPAM AS MUCH AS YOU WANT HERE" and make the admins powerless.

And damn it, you want Acmlm Board visors and THATS WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO GET!

Legion Smallhacker is the choice of a new generation.

We're going to the Crazyness Forum, then we're going to General, then we're going to the Sim-Battle forum! 4 more months! YEEEEARRRGH!

Trying to copy a BMP to the BG editor works as well as trying to copy some text from wordpad into Paint. You can't copy from other programs to LM, but from LM to LM.
