| The strange tile problem: In the editor, you placed a tile from the right half of the tileset where the counters will be drawn. If the tile underneath a counter is on the right page, that tile of the counter will also be drawn from the right page. Change the tile to the empty tile above the E in the word "Counter". The miscolored time: Almost the same thing here. The color of a counter's tile depends on the color of the tile underneath it. Change that tile's color. |

Played a bit too many DD hacks?  Seriously... If you can do this hack WITHOUT asking something like "How do I make four players?" or "How do I add new suits?" or "How do I make new enemies?" or "How do I hack?", I'll make you an admin. Also, stop capitalizing the first letter in every word. Use periods and commas as well. | What have HDMA got to do with this? Anyway. Is Mario's palette updated every frame? If not, a block could be placed at the beginning of the level which writes to Mario's palette. Otherwise, you'll need to use something like Level ASM (if it's executed between the palette update and the screen update). The last solution would be to modify the Mario palette loading code. | It's black because he have got a black font tag in his layout. Layouts won't show up on the reply page, which makes it use the default white color. | You can't use Misc. Text Editor to edit the Nintendo Presents text. You have to export the graphics, open GFX00.bin (or AllGfx.bin if you're using joined files) in a tile editor, edit the text, save and insert the graphics. | |||
