That seriously depends on how fast I can fix the memory management bug.
Waveform import would only be available for the samples. As for MIDI... I dunno. I would lie to you if I said it was impossible, but it is just fucking hard to implement.

Gotta <3 your hack since the moment I saw the delicious title screen performance (although the overworld seemed ridiculously familiar ). If you can keep up this niveau 'till the end, you'll find yourself easily among the board's (world's?) best SMW hackers.

SPC, especially N-SPC, is very alike MOD. And since MOD = MIDI with instruments included... no. Technically there is no problem, besides to the lack of memory.

Time warp... it isn't 100% wrong, but not right either...

MOD is, abstractly said, N-SPC with slightly more features, unlimited space and better sample quality. Therefore a slightly lossy conversion should be possible in some cases.
@MajinBlueDragon, have to correct you... MIDI is polyphonic. kthx. The main difference between MIDI and SPC is the following:

SPC
Length=3
Volume=1
Tone C#3
Length=2
Volume=3
Tone D#3
Tone E3

MIDI
Tone C#3 (length=3, volume=1)
MIDI Tick
MIDI Tick
MIDI Tick
Tone D#3 (length=2, volume=3)
MIDI Tick
MIDI Tick
Tone E3 (length=2, volume=3)

^ I think that explains a lot. MIDI is event-based, while SPC is sequential. (both examples above are the same ... erm... yes... I'd call that melody )

Erm, I haven't actually messed with MIDIs yet... I only wanted to show the general difference in structure (the thing with the MIDI ticks)... but, yes... I meant the note velocity, since my English isn't yet advanced enough to be aware of words like that one.

@HyperHacker, the longest instrument I have ever seen in an SPC dump was about 17k samples in length, meaning a bit more than half of a second with the SPC's sample rate of 32k/s.

Neither of yours is right.
(1) is close, but it isn't exactly "ch" but the "J" just like in "Je ne sais pas." You might write it as "Dezha vy".
And I doubt any of our canadian/french members would've answered 2 or 3.

Okee. Do as follows:

- Open up the ROM with the new OW.
- Open the Overworld Editor. Change something minor and change it right back, just for the sake of LM thinking it has changed.
- Open up the ROM with the new levels (in the main LM window).
- Switch to the Overworld Editor window.
- Hit the "save overworld to ROM" button.

Hope that helps (it is based on LM's (bug?) to load the overworld only once within an instance).
