| Hi. I have acouple of questions and sugestions to what whould be nice to have. How do I use the DOS tools on WinXP. ~~I.E. Snestool & segatool I had a sonic 2 hack going a long time ago but had to scrap it because I couldn't find a free editing program. The one I had used java but would only let me edit the land portion so I had sprites everywhere and invisable walls. I also would really like to work on a zelda 3 hack but I don't know where to find the program for that either. I was kinda hoping for a userfriendly interface like Lunar Magic. I don't know alot about hacking roms. I know what the userfriendly programs will tell me to do. Basically everything has to be simplified. Hence the Rom Hacking for a semi-n00b. The game lloks great and I can't wait to play it. Most hacks are fun but they are all the of the same game. I'm sorry but no matter how many SMW hacks their are, They will never be as fun as the real thing. BUT...I have never played a LTTP hack befor. I can't wait to play it.  I don't know squat about hacking but I hope to learn. I have a hex editor but it's all just a bunch of letters and numbers to me.  What is an ASM hack? How do I make one? I like the doorway in the next pic. I can't wait to see how it looks in the game.  I also like your sprite edits. I see you changed the colors for the Dark2 boss but changed his eye color. I don't exactly remember the sprite to a T but if my memory is correct, it was entirly an orange sprite. This is a great looking hack. Anyone can make a hack but not everyone can make it look like it was done by professionals. Lord knows I can't. Next thing...the graphics of the game look awsome but I have a suggestion.  The room looks like it's and an angle with the wall effects on the plateform but it still looks like flat room. I dunno really how to discribe it but I think it clashes with the room. I believe it would look better w/o the effects. All in all, I am very excited to play your Zelda in hopes that someday I will be in your shoes someday because I can already tell that this hack is going to make it all over the net. That is the sign of a well hacked rom. |

| I don't see how emulation on the PSP is waste of time. If you really want to gripe about it, video games in themselves are a waste of time but that's not stoping me from enjoying some emulation. Flash carts are the same thing as Memory Sticks anyways. They both hold data only the PSP has more options than any GBA could. I look at it as a blessing. That means I can play FF6 on the go insted of hauling around a laptop. Did you guys even read the next link? They are already coming out with programs for the PSP so you can D/L movies onto your Mem Stix and so that would make UMD movies obsolete befor it's 6 month aniversery. In otherwords...this $250 + whatever the mem stix costs has replaced my PC that not even finshed being paid for. I'm not trying to start rivalry or anything but I can hardly see how this accomplishment is a waste of time. But this is only my opinion. | thats cool. it makes sence that they would invent a psp to tv cord yet for sales reasons. The gameboy didn't come out with one so off companies had to make them. who wants to pay $50 for a GB player for the GC anyways? (edited by Roneo Strife on 05-12-05 09:33 AM) |

| Hi. I own GTA 3 for the pc but I hate the requirement of having the cd to play. My only guess would be to put the PLAY cd's data in a folder somewhere and tell a file to read from that insted of cd drive. What file is that? I know a little about hacking games but not enough to do any good. The last and only game I could sucessfull hack is duke nukem3D but that's childsplay. Even still, I don't know enough to do anything serious except change yours and enemies stats. |

| I hate to say it but your SMB3 hack looks boring. You have to make somthing that will catch people's eyes. A red mario game is not it. I hope you nixed the one block platform because that also sucks. |

| I want to hack roms but I don't know how. I don't know C+ I don't know how to read code I have never stepped one foot into a programing class Since most of you are rom hackers, what do you use? Or do most of you make your own program? Where can I go to learn? |

| It's a damn good hack I'll admit but the only thing that's cheap about it is entering the mushroom house when you first start will turn the trooper into the white ship. Maybe you should move the first mushroom house. (edited by Roneo Strife on 06-06-05 06:29 AM) |
