Ok. Now diddy has it set up on my host and it's http://ti.zcworld.net/

I'm getting the following across forum.php

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/zcworld/public_html/ti/forum.php on line 64
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/zcworld/public_html/ti/forum.php on line 7s

and I'm also getting the following across announcement.php

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/zcworld/public_html/ti/announcement.php on line 24

Is it possible that there's a mysql server mismatch? O_o

The old server was running MySQL 3.23.58 and the new server is running MySQL 4.0.22. Could it be I need to edit the php files and change the way the board queries the database? O_o

Please let me know.

EDIT: These lines are affecting the announcements system probably. O_o for I posted an announcement and it didn't show.

EDIT 2: I just commented out lines 62 through 79 and those errors went away.. but no announcements system.

Can you show me a screenshot view? I'm using FireFox 1.0.3 in Windows XP and I'm using a 1024x768 resolution. Maybe I should bump those images down under the RPG Stats. :p

Well, I bumped the images down to make my layout 800x600 compatible.. but what do you mean by the text color? O_o I see it just fine.

Okay... That's wierd.. I've closed all the tables and I've even validated the html in my signature.. It comes up as valid xhtml 1.0.

EDIT: Okay.. I've even switch the two backgrounds. :p

The background image is really cool.

I only used a scrolling layout because the background would look like !

Anywho.. I had to quote so I can showoff my blockquote setup.

I am guessing that you are using Internet Explorer, right? If so, I use transparent PNG images in the background and it just doesn't look right in IE. However, I did change the text color like you suggested. :p

I'm using Maxthon, which is based on the IE core. The devs are trying to fix the various problems with IE that MS ignores, as well as adding in features MS ignores, like tabbed browsing.

I wasn't sure if they'd added support for alpha-transparencies in PNGs, but I guess they haven't yet. Of course, I am using an older version... *shrugs*

Exactly what I use.. It's alpha transparency in which you can see a color, yet see the background through it. :p

EDIT: I downloaded your browser you talked about. Here's a side-by-side difference of what it looks like between your browser and my browser.

Opera

Maybe I should start adding in some javascript in my layout to force IE to use alpha-transparency. lol

NOTE: I now have a seemingly random background, and I edited the transparent PNG images.

Oh well.

Technically, they're not messing up. Technically, our browsers suck at dealing with one specific image type...

And I don't have a freakin' clue how the freck to make an alpha-transparent image...

I'll put something there, just not sure what yet D:

What I think you should do, is make the blank space to the right contain an image and be a fixed width, say <td width="150">. Then maybe you can make the other side have a width of 100% to make the layout consistent in any resolution.
