I think a hack is "complete" when the author says it is.  Of course, that still leaves a bunch of hacks that are essentially unfinished but deemed "complete" by the author because they don't want to/can't finish it... |

So, is anyone getting any use out of this?  Err, the real reason for the bump is to let you guys know that hdmamain.bin has been updated to fix a couple of problems, namely HDMA shutting off when you die or pause the game. Turns out there's a RAM mirror of $420C at $0D9F that's not reset after each frame, so the code now writes there instead. Message boxes, keyholes, and goals still don't properly coexist with custom HDMA, though...I should have a fix shortly. I honestly think God played a practical joke on me today. |
I woke up this morning to the sounds of rustling coming from my room in the basement (I was sleeping on the couch, as I sometimes do). I went downstairs, only to find a bird flapping around, looking for a way out. Now, get this: all the doors were shut, and there are no other entry points into the basement (only a dryer vent, but it was securely attached to the dryer), so there should have been no way for it to get in, especially considering its rather large size. Getting it upstairs and out the window was surprisingly easy, and it didn't even poop on anything. All in all, a completely harmless event. Makes you wonder...

I find most everything on TV, in newspapers/magazines, and on the Internet to be totally worthless nowadays. It's always the same stupid things over and over, like a broken record. Blah blah TV stars this, blah blah political scandal that. It's maddening! Are people really shallow enough to give two sh*ts about any of this, to let it basically dominate their lives? Argh. Maybe I should just turn off my brain and be a good little sheep like the rest of America...
