| Ok I'm a ditz at PHP but I'm quite good with PHPMyAdmin. Ok I'm trying to think of a way to make it so only a certain gender can enter a forum but I don't know how. Can somone help me out here? I'm also looking for a way to install a feature from the old FF7 Citadel board which enabled only RolePlayers to post in the RolePlay forum. Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| I am looking for Acmlm Board v1.8. I have a web site(Http//:fffire.com) and we have a forums that used to run off of Acmlm boards. Our server crashed and we no longer have the Acmlm Boards. I had it saved to my computer but I ran the recovery disk and lost all remaining Acmlm that I had. I am asking someone to PM me or reply here if you can help me get Acmlm Board v1.8(or higher...would be greatly appreciated). | I have an error when I try to my profile or when anyone else tries to edit theirs. An error come up and says that this resource cannot be displayed in your browser..I need help with this soon..please..also there was an error with logging out. aha! I know your problem. This happened to me a long time ago. It's not your forums, everyone else SHOULD be able to login correctly (on different computers). The problem is with your computer itself; it happened to me before and I fixed it by enabling cookies  |

| If you really want a copy of an acmlm board, try staying around a while and get to know some of the members. That's how I originally got mine. You can't just barge on in asking for a copy, it'll get you nowhere. I'd give you a copy, but I'm afraid some of the higher powers wouldn't be too happy. If they say it's ok I'd be more than happy to give you a copy. However, you need some PHP knowledge if you wish to mod it at all. The original 1.8 has a few bugs and is quite obsolete nowadays. Try finding yourself someone that's experienced in PHP and Acmlm boards. You'll also need MySQL and phpMyAdmin (or something of the like) if you want to be able to add forums and such. There's no admin panel yet (some experimental hacks have been made but are buggy); wait for 2.0 if you really want one. That's when it will be "officially" released. Ok, so everything's going great, and the layout is a stretchy one. Anyhoo, I can't get it to stop and not go smaller. I want it to not be able to go under 800 pixels wide but it won't work  I use IE browser-wise, is that the problem? I know it doesn't recognize minimum height, but what about width? If it does recognize the command, how can I get it so the minimum table width is 800 pixels. Well, I'm alright at VB (Visual Basic), and I'm currently taking one class this year for it and another next. I can try and help out with that. |
Also, I'm ok with HTML. I'm a lot better at editing than creating, however. I'm starting to get the hang of PHP, too. So far, just mark me down for helping to edit HTML and helping with VB.

Well, SyntaxLegend/Metroid has released his 1.8a Administration Panel, however with the new "release" of 1.92 is there an admin panel anywhere out there? It gets really tedious having to go into phpMyAdmin every time I want to edit a forum or anything. |
