| Yeah I know that HH. This game is sort of a remake of the GBC game, in that it combines SMB and TLL. It's looking like this could take less than a week to finish and release. Hell if I stay up all night tonight I could probably release it tomorrow morning! But I'm not gonna do that since I only got 2 hours sleep last night. ![]() Thanks for all the nice comments! So does anybody have anything bad to say about the screens? Where's Kyouji Craw anyway? ![]() |

| Ah, Peach's Castle. You're right there Someguy, I copied the all of the 4-screen-long level from the flash movie, Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom. And I might try to copy Mario's House from Mario's flashback at the start of ROTMK4. @Trasher: although it looks like the Donut Plains 1 background, that BG came from SMB2 w3-3. Only the FG is from SMW. @Cirvante: Yes, of course. I'm leaving this unlocked so that people can use this as a base hack, or to just take stuff for their own hack, just like my SMW GFX Hack (v1.2 coming soon BTW). There WAS a poison mushroom in this hack, but when I found out it was overwriting the flying cheep cheeps, I had it removed. I've asked mikeyk to put it back for me without overwriting an SMB sprite, but he hasn't been around in quite some time... @X-Keeper: What Xs? |

| I don't understand why, but my Bullet Bill is really messed up in my hack, SMBDX. 90% of the time, the standard generator shoots fish instead of bullets which go diagonally, like the doomship cannons in SMB3 or something. I opened both SMBDX and an original SMW rom with Mario World Reconfigurator, and I copied all of the code of the Bullet Bill and the three generators over to my rom, but it still didn't work. I think it must have something to do with the ASM of the sprites or something like that. Could somebody please help me fix this and change the Bullet Bill and it's generators back to normal? |

| Well it's based off mikeyk's hack (with my own adjustments to bring back cape mario), so the generated sprite actually acts like a cannon, but still, changing the GFX wouldn't be good. I opened my hack with Mario World Reconfigurator to find that the ASM pointer of the generator was x1090, so I opened to that offset in a hex editor in both this and a SMW rom, but there weren't any differences anywhere near 1090. I also tried the ASM pointer with the generated bullet bill sprite, but same thing. |

| Exactly, AP. I've asked a few people to look into it for me, so I'll just have to wait and see if they can do anything. In the meantime though, I'm just adding some extra features like large SMB3 bushes and stuff. | |||

| Exactly Trasher. mikeyk fixed the bullet bill, and added a poison mushroom. I've gone through all the levels tidying them up where necessary and adding some extra GFX from SMB3. I'm testing it right now to find the last remaining glitches, and when I clear those out, it's release time. I don't think I even need to get beta testers again, so I might be able to release it tomorrow or Saturday. | |||

| I'm not trying to make it exactly like the GBC version. The only reason I'm using this name is because the GBC version combines SMB and SMBTLL, as does my hack. I don't really want the Boo Race either. | |||

| Yes, of course, DisruptiveIdiot, he's under "Various ASM Hacks" in the credits. I'll give it a shot CJ. By the way, that SMB2 grass you see in some screens, they're in almost every level now, and they work in 2 ways: they turn into a coin when hit by a fireball, or Yoshi can eat it like a berry and get a coin.
