| I was going to post about this last night and never got around to it--in other words, there isn't another thread. I think this is just going way too far. The man has gone off the deep end and should just stay the heck out of the video game buisness. Really, I suppose his heart was INITIALY in the right place, but where the hell was it when he made this proposal? Really, if something like this gets made I will loose faith in the company that publishes it, as well as the company producing the console it would even be allowed on. Regardless of who. This is just taking something very stupid and bringing it way too far. If he has an issue, maybe he should take things up with the ESRB. You know, the people that determine WHAT IS APPROPRIATE AND WHAT ISN'T. But then again it HAS to be the game company's fault for allowing such things to exist and not the ESRB, who APPROVES it.  This man is one of the few people I loathe in life. |

| Umm...I wouldn't exactly count on that just yet =| This thread has very little content that makes it stick worthy. MOST of the posts are just names of games, followed by "it kicks ass" with little to back up why. Unless one of the other mods for whatever reason sees this thread as sticky worthy, I'm going to leave it as is. If you sallvaged it, allowed for good post content, and maybe even had a few pages of posts, I might consider stickying it.  strong, so strong..I remember getting a big headache, and would constantly mutter things to myself. One cousin of mine tells me I apparently also played through all of Zelda 2, quite horribly I might add. Actualy, this did happen. . . after I played Deadly Towers, I wanted to break the game with a hammer until it was dead forever. Something inside is telling me I did, because I don't have it anymore |
But to be perfectly serious, I have played many kinds of games, and violent ones too. None of them have ever made me want to go out and shoot someone. It is a video game, it is a way of someone expressing their creativity--I see video game designers as artists. Really, videogames to me are all works of art. Each unique and special in their own way. Just like there can be acts of violence depicted in paintings, we don't lash out against THAT art form and accuse it of influencing people to murder. So why videogames? I guess he meant the capturing and training aspects are not present, which is what Trapster seems to be confused the most by..but hopefully he'll get it. Just download Netbattle and actualy play around with the program, if you don't get it after that...well |

Ah! My friend bought this game for me, since she thought it was really good. I absolutly love it! I have only gotten a little bit further than you Kyouji..I really think that everyone with a DS should at least try it some how. The microphone support was pretty cool, too |
