Posted on 08-22-05 05:38 AM, in School.....again. But how does it affect us? Link
Sophomore year .___.;; I really do not like HS very much. But I still need to get used to it. The rules are so different from the school I went to in Japan..so, sometimes I can get in trouble for an accidental reason ^^ but it is usualy not a big thing. In Japan we do have a rule that I think anyway is NOT here at all..it is the student's right to go to class. You could chose not to and nothing ever happens! They cannot be kicked out of school, out of class, ever. We have no detaining system of discipline either..unless you count holding buckets of water xD (please tell me some of you get that t_t) Oh and also you can't not graduate. Part of it being your right to attend class. I have skipped school only 2 times ever, only because I was so tired and I just did not want to. That is such a foolish reason..but nothing did happen

But what I mean is that if they do too much 2D on the DS people can and WILL find new ways of complaining about it..that is why I am at least sort of happy the GBA is still being given even a little attention as the accepted 2D medium for handhelds..if that makes sence, anyway.

Snika: Please, stop. You have made it perfectly clear that you do not appreciate this style of gameing. You are entitled to your opinion, but alot of us do not agree and it causes more and more of a problem every time you say something like that...a couple of people have already told you that too.

And to everyone else: Let's try not to get into a 2D vs. 3D battle, please ._.;; we can all agree both types of games are amazing in their own right, so let's leave it at that. I've asked Snika to stop, so this should remove alot of the conflict in this thread. I appreciate it, you guys

The user base is what turns many people away from some of the greatest videogames (Pokemon, DBZ, things like that)..I do not really like DBZ very much, but I have played the videogames, and they are some of the better fighting games you could get for the money. If you actualy like DBZ, then you would love this sort of thing otherwise, I would just rent it for a while =\

Here is my take--I bought the Japanese one, and I ultimately did have a bunch more fun with it..SoR was an amazing series! I think it was very stupid that OSTs change by region too..I never will get the point why games have to change so much. I know there is a big cultural differance but even after I lived in America for a while I do not see what big difference would make them take out entire parts of games. . . are they to mean that the cultural difference is that American game designers are a bunch of dorks that only want money? I hope this is not true ._.;; At least the Japanese game desingers give something for the money..

My auntie bought a PSP and I own a DS. . . ooooOOOooo, the things that go on in my house ^^; But, anyway Here is what I think about it. She only has one game because it came with it for her. It was some car game and you make other cars blow up, Ionno the name. . . but she only uses the system for the fact it can play movies and emulate..I think that is kind of sad. I have a really tiny laptop that can do that. It is not the same, but why buy a VIDEOGAME system and not play the VIDEOGAMES made for it? It just seems sorta silly to me ._.;; I cannot say I don't like the PSP very much, but the games do not interest me and that is the only way I would get one.

The thought of an online Super Smash Brothers makes me so excited. . . I do not know very many games that are supposed to be for the revolution, but I hope we can find out soon. The games for the PS3 and XBOX360 (blech..I donot like that lineup at all!) do not interest me very much and I hope that the Revolution might have some inovative and fun titles for me. SSB Online would sell it for me, for sure, since I can expect great things from a system that would have that..but I would still want a little more. Right now, I have my heart set on the Rev. and it does not look like I will change soon. . . so that is what I voted ^^

Edit: Oh, hey, Valcion. . . I did not think he was fanboying, at all. I think he was just saying that he did not feel like spending that sort of money, and that does make alot of sence. He did not say SONY SUCKS BUY NINTENDO >( If you'd like to point out where he was fanboying, then please, feel free, but other than that..please, don't tell people to get out of my forum, I can do that myself. Thanks

That is very true, but the thing I only think is fair is that if there is a game I really like, I will buy it and not download it for free. It is only fair to the people who made it. If you are enjoying it, you can at least give a little back to them That is why I never download a ROM of a game I don't own. But that is ok. . . because I own alot
