I am really thinking of buying a mod. I do not play my PSX hardly anymore, and I think it might be kind of fun to do something to it. What is the sort of recomended chip? And is it cheap, because I do not have very much money right now.. |

Here are a few of mine... |
Bubble Bobble - I still have fun with this all the time! I loved the addictive fact of it. Arkanoid - it was adictive..very much. Tetris - I have every version of Tetris ever for NES and GB. I'm so weird  Super Mario Brothers for Super Players - I have the real SMB2. I like it too, so much more hard. Adventures of Lololo - hey, this was a good game after all  Kirby's Adventure - My second Kirby game, and I was an addict then so I did love it much! Punch Out - He.. stole my bike!  but, this was a fun game.Duck Hunt - I always tried to shoot the doggie when I was little. I still do hate him much Base Wars - I think this is the best NES game ever Bad Dudes - I am a bad enough dude to save he president. And I would never know if it was not because of this. Dr. Mario - I like the Gameboy one better. They are the same thing but I'm a weirdo so ._.; Metroid - This was sort of fun. I liked it a bit more when I was a little older. Mach Rider - <3 Deadly Towers - I bought 3 so I could destroy them and take out their Famicom adapter. I did not actualy loose 3 dollars, in retrospect. That is the only reason I like that game. There are a couple of Japanese games that I like, too. But you probably have never heard of them, so I will not bother

I really like Hyrule Castle (Lttp) and Hyrule Field (OoT) the best. . . and the Song of Storms (OoT) and Balad of the Windfish (LA) are also so pretty! |

While I like your thnking, and I think you did a good job on that illustration, it does not seem very practical for alot of games. Think of Mortal Kombat where you need to press a bajillion buttons to do one move (I am stretching it, but it is a ridiculous number). Other games might be a little more complicated as well without a D-Pad, because alot of N64 games, and every game before that uses the D-Pad. |
But I like the idea of connecting it together, and being able to seperate it that was brought up. Your design does have potential but it just does not seem very practical yet. But I guess that is why it is a proto type ^^ (edited by Yoronosuku on 06-18-05 05:49 PM) (restricted) |

Anyway to answer the question. Nintendo of American released Japan's FF4 as Ameirca's FF2. Japan's FF6 was also America's FF3. However. 4, 5, and 6 were released in America on one PSX disk..wit Chrono Trigger. These were the Japan 4, 5 and 6, so we really have 4 and 6 twice. the system made me say WTF, not just the game. I did not find a use for it except to prop up my bed after I 'beat' those 'games'. Yoshi Cookie is another WTF game because the VS mode is so cheap. Only other WTF game of my list is Deadly Towers because it is only good for the hardware. The game is poo ._.;(edited by Yoronosuku on 06-18-05 10:14 PM)
