| You'll need to define "slow." As slow could be 1 GHz on down. But as for the crappy emulation, that's the fault of the emulator. Once someone with a brain programs a good 64 emulator, then Goldeneye will be playable. Until then, settle for what you got. | |||

| Well this happened much sooner than I thought, but Brock Lesnar was released on Monday. I guess a groin injury is part of the blame. Warner named Giants staring QB for week 1. ![]() Jeff Garcia says he needs to get more work in. ![]() And the big story of the week, "Prime Time," Deion Sanders to report to the Ravens training camp on Wednesday. |

| There's history here.... The last biggest loss the Yankees ever suffered was 18 runs, back in 1928. This was from the Indians, AT Yankee stadium. Today, 22 runs, against the Indians, AT Yankee stadium. 22 runs on 22 hits, while the Yankees were held to 5 hits. Just think of the difference Sheff would've made had he been playing... | |||

Actually they will shop.....to get supplies, then get the hell out of dodge. ![]() Not that I blame them. You can stick around, maybe watch your house collapse/get flooded out/roof ripped off/completely destroyed, or you can leave and the same thing'll happen. Although, there's only two real dangers. Living on the coast, near a beach (storm surge) and the tornadoes. If this lands as a 5, then it'll be a ride too bumpy to tolerate. I'll say this now Anya, good luck, if you chose to ride it out. |

| Actually, this may mark the year as the greatest "Yankee downfall" ever. Think about it, April, Red Sox sweep the Yankees in Yankee Stadium, and I think they took 2 of 3 at Fenway. Yankees were reeling then. They since picked up pace, and the Red Sox kinda fell under the radar. But now, the Yankees are doing utterly horrible, the Red Sox are stomping all over everyone they meet, while their greatest test lies ahead with the A's. If the Red Sox take 2 out of 3 or even somehow manage to sweep the A's, then the Yankees can already hand the Red Sox the division. Let's not forget about the part of Red Sox vs Yankees 6 more times this regular season. This is gonna be a huge test for Boston. They need to leave scars over the A's, and mutilate the Yankees. | |||

That would be Ripper Blast. Very fast, very quick to execute move, and once your proficiency is high enough, it can even hit some airborn enemies. If you don't get the Eternal Sphere or are lacking a good power move, Mirror Slice is probably what you want. That starts out with 4 hits, but when powered up I think 10-12 hits. I usually use Ripper Blast or Dragon Howl until I get my setup ready. Too bad Mirror Slice is level 70...
Level 38 actually, (and I had to cheat to find out.) If you have any Mind Rings, give one to Claude. Alouette, a good power team is in Rena's scenario. If you recruit Ashton, it's just a matter of the almighty third person to make your power team. Spoiler: The third being Dias, who you will get around the half point of the game. There's many things in detail that would be helpful. This game is quite involved in many aspects. That's a lot to post, but I'll give it a go. 1: About Pickpocket, it's one attempt per person. And only your main character can do the Pickpocketing. To do Pickpocketing, you must have a Bandit's Glove. You can buy it for 40,000? FOL in the port town of Hilton. To have success with Pickpocket, that character must have the talent Dexterity, and you need the skills Poker Face and Courage. Not only do you need those, but the Pickpocketing skill must be at least level 7 for 50-50 success. (That's WITH Dexterity.) To learn Dexterity, you can do Machinery or Metalwork. 2: Unlocking a talent for any character nabs them 100 skill points. 3: There's a really good level building spot at the beginning of the game once you get past Salva. There's a mountain on the left side, save just before the entrance, and enter. Stay near the entrance, and run around until you find little purple balloons. They can't kill you, and are good experience kills. Personally, this is good enough to get to level 30. ![]() 4: Rena's healing gets better and better as she uses it. For effective healing, disable older healing spells. 5: There's an ultra hard bonus dungeon waiting for you at the end of the game if you can find it. 6: You can also make the final boss a much harder fight, if you can find that. Although not directly connected to, it is kind of related to the way of finding the ultra hard bonus dungeon. 7: Even though there are 12 characters, you can only recuit 6 other characters. (You always start with Claude and Rena.) 8: Persersearance is the way to saving skill points. It only takes 80 points to max out. The effect is that the cost for all skills to learn and build up is reduced significantly. 9: The second level building spot is in the "Sancuarty of Linga." (The cave nearby the town.) Again, stay near the entrance, and I hope you have endurance. The music is pretty terrible for this cave imo. Otherwise, the hopping bunnies are your target, but keep in mind to go after everything. The bunnies just give the most reward. I usually level build to about 40-45 here, 50 for extreme measures (like learning skills.) I have many more tips, but I think this'll do for now unless you want more. Just let me know. |

| --Edit-- I'd like to tip my hat off to Ichiro Suzuki, who's going for the all time single season hits record. Current record was set by George Sisler back in 1920, with the record at 257. This is a regular season record, doesn't include postseason. --/Edit-- And the Yankee's season has ended! Prediction time! Yankees will lose the division to the Red Sox, and in a freak-ish slump, not claim the wild card. The Angels will win the AL wild card. ALDS: Twins vs A's (Oh please, not another 18 inning marathon)ALDS: Red Sox vs Angels ALCS: Twins vs Red Sox (Did you really think I would pick against my team? Hell no, they have better pitching right now anyway.) Now the NL. No catching the Cardinals, they are long gone. Astros will not catch up, though I believe they come close. And the Cubs vs Marlins will really determine it, though I believe the Cubs will come out on top. NLDS: Cardinals vs Dodgers NLDS: Cubs vs Braves (why is it these two teams ALWAYS seem to match up?) NLCS: Cardinals vs Cubs (Cubs fan all the way) WS: Twins vs Cardinals In all honesty, the Cubs are not good enough to beat the Cardinals, as they've already shown many times this year. But who wins? 1987 starting to ring bells? (edited by Lenophis on 09-04-04 02:18 AM) (edited by Lenophis on 09-04-04 03:10 AM) |

| I don't really care for the college ball at all. Waaaay too many things to make me think twice about watching. The Mike Williams situation, constant BCS BS, no playoff system, and legitament teams that deserve a shot at the national title never get that chance. College ball is all about money, I'm in it for the sport. But if I had to pick I'd take the Gophers. What?No team from THE Ohio State University is gonna take them down this year. ![]() ![]() So....uhhh, yeah. |
