and giving the final boss a Cure4 is CHEAP AS ALL HELL.

It's not that bad, since on the NES version it only restores 999 HP. That's three 9's, not four. Cure4 also has the added benefit of "Esuna," which cures all abnormal status ailments.

Challenge-wise, the NES version is better suited, but for flash, either the PS port or the GBA port will work.

My hate of the FF series starts and ends with the latest one in the series. That would be the one that all the countries have, not the one currently in development.

You're off your rocker if you think the Mets have a snowball's chance in hell of winning the Wild Card. Marlins are struggling, Nationals are struggling, Mets have no bullpen, Astros have no run support, so by default, it will go to the Phillies. Although I'd rather see the Cubs win it.

It would be a LOT of work to make any kind of filter. Nice idea by concept, but hard to implement, I would think.

The Cubs own Andy Pettite, and I see 7 games left, that's two outtings by Andy, and two by Clemens. Can we say 4 losses?

The Astros are also hurt, but that goes without saying, a lot of teams are hurt right now.

The Phillies don't know how to win on the Road, Braves already won the east, Nats are as offensively anemic as my precious Twins... That leaves the Marlins, who have Willis, and not having a second-half slump for a change. What else do they got? Won't matter, the Cardinals will open a can on all of them. World Series trip round 2 for the Cardinals.

Jerry Rice, who made the Denver Broncos roster over the weekend, has retired from the NFL.

Rice currently holds many records: 208 touchdowns total, 197 via the throw. 22,895 receiving yards, 1549 receptions, 274 consecutive games with a catch. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

This comes 7 months after the retirement of Emmitt Smith. I can most positively say, I know who's going in first ballot for the class of 2010.

Or you believe that Al Gore won the 2000 presidential election.

Actually, nobody knows who won the election. The count (or re-count) was terminated, so the results will forever be unknown.

Or you believe that most television and print news outlets in this country are politically neutral.

A lot of the major ones are biased, in one direction or another.

Or you believe that the U. S. Constitution is a "living, breathing" document, and that Supreme Court Justices have the right to redefine its text in order to make it compatible with what they interpret to be the current moral standards of society.

Bush is trying to ammend said "living, breathing" document in order to make it compatible with what they interpret to be the current moral standards of society.

Or you believe that Charles Darwin's macro-evolution theory is a proven fact.

Just like how a little book with a cross is a proven fact?

Or you believe that requiring children to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in school violates their "civil rights".

Why is civil rights in quotes? Is that to say that they don't exist, or that the two words are a figment of someone else's imagination?

Or you believe that private clubs like the Boy Scouts of America should be forced to accept as members individuals who's lifestyles they disapprove of.

Since they are treating the scouts like a business, a new business should be made to rival it.

Or you believe that big oil companies make more money from the sale of gasoline than the federal and state governments do.

Don't even get me started on this.

Or you believe that most American soldiers joined the military because they were either tricked into it, or they couldn't make a living in the civilian world.

People make thier own choices, if that's what they choose to do, then so be it.

Or you believe that taxpayer money should be used to fund "the arts".

I don't even know what the hell this means...

Or you believe that the guarantor of your rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is the federal government.

Or you believe that unborn human beings are not really human beings simply because they require the impermanent sanctuary of their mothers' wombs, and therefore, abortion is not murder.

I'm sorry, those two points condridict each other!

Or you believe that George W. Bush is more dangerous to the American way of life than Al-Qaeda.

Maybe not to the "American way of life," but certainly "American lives."

Or you believe that Rush Limbaugh is an extremist, but that Al Franken isn't.

Al Franken is a comedian, therefore I take him less seriously. But both of them are crazy at times.

Or you believe that drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) in Alaska will destroy the environment.

Maybe not the global environment, but I can't say the same for Alaska's.....

Or you believe that raising taxes on the "rich" will lead to economic prosperity for everyone else.

The rich don't exist?

Or you believe that the invasion of Iraq by U. S.-led coalition forces violated "international law".

The US led the way, England followed, and not much else other than that. Not only that, they jumped the gun, and were a good portion wrong on the accusations.

Or you believe that things like the education system, the healthcare system, and the social security system are best controlled by federal agencies, as opposed to private citizens.

Ask me again when you have $5,000+ of credit card debt. Now ask the 3 million American's with that debt that same question.

(OMG now that was funny )

Yes, trolling, flaming, and spamming is fun. Do you feel better now?

This should be trashed or moved to World Affairs (if it hasn't been already).

Really? By who? That's veeeeeery interesting...

By the US Supreme Court, about 1 month into the counting, it was terminated and the election was basically handed to George W. Bush. The ballots should've been counted, no matter how long it would've taken. That way, all doubts would've been cast aside.

Colleen: I probably wouldn't read into Zhang He that much. Koei and/or Omega Force did overdo some elements of DW and SW.

--Dynasty Warriors--

Lu Bu: Pretty much a killing machine like always, although I'm surprised that the beer consumption hasn't been brought in yet.

Sima Yi: He never used a fan like the games make him out to. He used a sword. Zhuge Liang is the only fan wielder.

Liu Bei: The only warrior of the era to wield two swords, yet, in the games doesn't.

Zhang He: Beauty is everything to him....literally. Even the oh-so-graceful moves he does in the games. Slide step, slide step, slide step *interrupted by massive sword slashes*

--Samurai Warriors--

Keiji Maeda: Overdone to be pretty much an apathetic, overpowering bad ass. He's way more passive than that. Not nearly as ignorant or idiotic as the game makes him appear to be either.

Shingen Takeda: The only warrior in the planet that would rather wield a fan, and not draw the sword sitting on his belt.

Kunoichi: Use her musou... "I do love this game." WTF?! Not to mention she acts like a total ditz and airhead.

Rydain: I fear what you would look like if you looked like Koei's model of Zhang He... *shudders*

--Edit--
You already posted a link... *braces for impact* Could've been worse... You got the details down pretty well, so I get more praise for a job well done on the costume. The character....wouldn't have been my first choice.

Seeing those brought back haunting memories of Adult Swim's cosplay commercial...

This was released two days ago in America, and Wal Mart (two days after) still did not have it. It was found at Best Buy. Until two weeks ago, I had never heard of it. A friend of mine had been telling me that's a new game that Tri Ace had been developing. Considering I hadn't been keeping up on new games, it wasn't surprising I hadn't heard of this. But then I bring up the game in IRC, and nobody's heard of it.

After spending the obligitory $50 on it, I finally got a chance to try it out. It uses a more advanced and slightly tweaked Star Ocean 3 battle system. The graphic style is a lot like Suikoden III or Tales of Symphonia. So far I'm quite satisfied with the game, and I'm only about 10 minutes into it. Thoughts?

And more news, the 49'ers will not cut a player from the roster to make room for Rice so he can officially retire as a 49'er. Since he retired after the final cut-down day, he's basically shit out of luck. I was watching JRiB, ATH, and PTI today, and someone said that the NFL could waive that rule for special cases. Won't matter if they do or don't. He is, was, and always will be a 49'er.

Ok, I'm done taking cheap shots. Sliv, me want more movie you to take your time in the "final stages."
