Beltran is out indefinately, although he's been a bust for the Mets this year anyway. I saw the replay on Espnews today.....OUCH! Pretty much as bad as Damon's collison a couple years ago, when he was taken off by ambulance.

And the preseason injuries start already!

Lions lose Corey Slessinger out 6-8 weeks with a broken leg...

Bears lose Rex Grossman for 3-4 months with a broken ankle suffered during the preseason game against the Rams.

Let the good times role...

In no particular order....
Zero from the Megaman X and Megaman Zero series. Debuted in MM8 I think when Wily was being Wily. He is the original maverick, and also caused Sigma to be Sigma. Pretty much a bad ass, and does have some good one-liners to boot.
  • Auron from Final Fantasy X. One of the better theme songs for any character I've heard in a great while. A somewhat mysterious character, never failing to drive Tidus crazy.
  • Kefka from Final Fantasy 6. Nuff said.
  • Lu Bu from the Dynasty Warriors series. Based on the real life Lu Bu from the old days of China. The most effective killing machine of any character (once you see the two-square-triangle move you'll know what I mean. )

  • Exdeath from Final Fantasy 5 (X-Death if you go by the PSX translation). One of the better villians of the SNES era, but ranks behind Kefka. Also has an incredible theme song (but is bastardized by the PSX, so refer to the SPC). Just has the certain quality that few villians have.
  • Cid from Final Fantasy 7. "Shut yer god damn mouth and drink yer god damn tea!" Ok, maybe Sony overdid the translation a little bit... At least they kept the title the way it should've been! *Points finger's at Nintendo* He also has a good theme song (there's a trend building here)
  • K.Rool from the Donkey Kong Country series. Only because he loves causing trouble for DK, really.
  • Lenneth from Valkyrie Profiles (and used in Star Ocean 3). My reference is to her in SO3. Constantly summons (or revives) old foes of the game "with power that was never revealed in the main story!" When you first run into her, it's pretty funny too. When you finally get around to fight her though, she's a bad ass.

That's all I can think of for now. *shrug*

Sometimes I wonder if you kids even know anything about WWII, the Third Reich, and Hitler himself other than just their names. Seriously, what kind of comment was that?

Fewer people than I'd like to admit. Statements like that are idiotic, and people need to educate themselves with issues and "real life" beforehand.

There's also something else to consider. Far too many people judge who they will vote for just by that little sticker of what party they follow. That only displays how shallow and narrowminded people can be.

"He wants to run for Presidency by changing the Constitution's rule of being an American citizen that was born here."

This will never pass. Ever.

Agreed. If the current president hasn't been able to ammend the constitution for x reason, no way in hell someone else will be able to pull it off.

And really, the reason people have a problem with him in politics is not because of how he handle's the job, it's soley due to the fact that he's, well, a celebrity. His celebrity status does not render him incapable of being a politician.

No, his celebrity status renders him a target for naysayers and those that don't want him to succeed just for the sake of arguing...

"Gots to" love stupidity at times, eh?

He wasn't born in the US, born and raised in Austria. I thought that was a well known fact... =\

I also wasn't aware of the progress of his current tenure. Guess that's what happens when I don't keep up on the news. Oh well.

Yeah, the FAQ says that you should read it (and everyone else does too). Clearly, that's not working. If it were, this discussion wouldn't be happening...

alte Hexe (what the fuck is up with these stupid names!?): He also has a very big...errr...problem looming over his head. Although, IIRC, Clinton had a problem similar to this, and he didn't even get a slap on the wrist for it. So we'll see what happens.

I'm easily angered by stupidity. Naturally, I wind up getting pissed at myself many times, and for minor things...

If I'm not sleeping, I must be listening to something... Otherwise I need to keep my hands busy by fiddling with something.

--Edit--
When I can't sleep, I know exactly why. It's because my mind wont stop thinking about shit. I can be physically exhausted and still not sleep for another 4 hours because my mind is just lost in thought. That, and I can't sleep on my back.

Well, I'm not really sure, but it could be an hWnd problem. That, or a pointer is giving a problem.

Could you paste the switch code?

Quite possibly the best post I've read in the last two months. Gotta love it when the kids get busted. This sort of thing needs to happen more often. Then again, if she didn't want him staying up that late, him having a computer in his room is mistake number 1.

Ahh, the joys of reality MMORPG's.

We now put to rest a team once known as the Kansas City Royals. They have displayed a feat in futility that not even the '62 Mets haven't done. (Did I get the right year?) Although, granted, they haven't set any records yet, but it's getting closer and closer.

Currently, the Royals have an 18 game losing streak, breaking the previous franchise record of 15 games, and getting closer and closer to the ominous 1988 Orioles with their 21 game losing streak.

WIth their season (in terms of accomplishments) long over, this is something they probably don't want lingering over their shoulders. Although the 2004 Tigers were able to rebound from the 119 loss season of 2003. I'm not sure this is something that any team can recover from immediately.

This Incredibly Long Book Title Has Been Brought To You By "No Inglesh."

mocking aside, this will give you an idea as to how a certain variety of the SNES CPU ticks. Also, this will give you an idea as to how the NES CPU ticks.

There are also various other documents laying around, some at the Donut.

Although this isn't nearly everything, I hope it helps at least.
