 In terms of storyline, this save file is supposed to blindly charge into the Tower of Mysidia to get the Crystal Rod. But instead, I need to freshen up, because the inn is always handy.  Now let's enter Altea and...  WTF?!  Well....I need to see if the town is possessed...  And behind door number 1...  .... She's not even supposed to be in this dungeon! (That's the final dungeon, btw.) Translation: The Map Editor is also one giant step closer to being done. Here's the discovery thus far: With the help of Gil, some very nice music data has been submitted. But there was some curious data with along with what he gave me. So I tested it out, and what you see above is the end result. 16 bytes per room, and it's all neatly bundled up in a nice format. --Edit-- Actually, it was dialogue information Dan gave me, and it is somewhat close (within the same bank anyway). Thanks everyone. I guess it was just my imagination after all! (That nobody cared I mean.) At this rate, the next version of Jade will completely blow away the current version of 0.12. Hell, just that shot of the map editor should say that. Red = left click Blue = right click Purple = enemy domain grid Yellow = in-game viewing area All customizable too. And to think, I still haven't recoded the Spells or Text editors yet.  Yeah, I know it's been half a year since the last release, but, I'm putting this one off until the Map Editor is done. That's a ways off though, still need a routine to recompress the map, then I need to get the other maps [towns and dungeons] figured out. I may hold off on adding the music editor though for this release. I'm not sure. Thoughts? |

| *sniff*........One time.....*sniff*....Internet Explorer......*sniff*.......opened when it shouldn't have. I was afraid that the boogeyman might come and get me! *sniff* Although, on very rare occurances the whole machine will lock up for no reason. Afterwards, it's a total bitch to get it to turn on again. It hasn't failed in not powering on again, but it just seems to take forever. The 'on' button isn't the off button. I'm usually flipping the power switch on the back of the power supply. Then I wait......and wait.....and wait. (Although, if I hold the 'on' button long enough, that does kill the power. But it has always added to the problem.) *sigh* Other than that, I take care of my baby pretty well.  |

that is the question. And yes, for every thread I ever make in this forum, I am always intentionally vague.  How about if PM inboxes have the option to never accept PM's from any given user, kind of like how the block layout goes. You can block a layout from every displaying, you should be able to not accept any PM's from a given user. I know of at least two people who wouldn't hesitate to use this function, but I do want to hear some input on the matter. |

| Actually, Tejada had that record, 15 home runs in one round during last year's derby. Bobby Abreau (of the Philly's) absolutely destroyed it tonight. In the first round no less, Abreau hit 24 home runs, and hit 41 total for the entire derby (he of course won it as well), and he is now the home run derby king! As for the ASG itself, the American League (as always) will win and thus get home-field advantage for the World Series. And since Burlhe (sp?) is starting, I have nothing to worry about (and yeah, I don't like him since I'm a Twins fan, but in this case, I'm rooting for him.) Yeah, Red Sox managers are 1-5 all time for the Mid-summer Classic, but I think that record will go to 2-5. |

If my memory serves, he is supposed to be the "next Wayne Gretkzy." But hockey is so far off the map, I don't even remember how the game is played anymore.  Watch out! Here come the Wild! Muahahahahhahaha! .....301 days *sigh* One thing that strikes me as interesting is that pretty much 90% of the players are free agents (or at least that's what it was made out to be) for this season. It's more like "those who hit the cap first win the cup..."  |

I've been using this minipic for a LONG time now, going on one and a half years. I've been using this avatar for about 2 months now (but probably longer).  I cropped it from the wallpaper I use. I'm pretty sure my sig is long enough as it is...  But anyway, I need ideas. I used the Jade minipic because I couldn't come up with anything else. Anyone want to help? I'm open to suggestions. |

Battle: He'll start off by pulling out his tentacles, before the action stops (this will happen if you are fast enough) cast Haste. Cast Regen. Now wait. Once he attacks, determine the following:
Now, Yuffie (or whoever you chose) will do 7 physical counter attacks, at about 3000 damage per hit, then summon Hades. The damage Hades does is laughable, but Ruby will be stopped from this. While Ruby is not moving, unload on Ruby. Once Ruby starts to move again (generally after 3 or 4 rounds), STOP ATTACKING! Wait for him to attack again, then repeat the cycle. If you are able to use your limit (Doom of the Living), use it. Once Regen fades, re-cast Regen. Simple.  At no time should you ever attack the tentacles, unless you want to deal with him doing percentile damage (Big Hit) and Comet2. At no time should you ever revive your other two characters, because Ruby will do Quicksand now and then, and there's a chance you'll lose the one character you need for this strategy. Just keep a cool head, and no matter how much you want it to, this will take a while. If you summon Knights of the Round, it'll just be longer. Trust me, the damage Yuffie does with the Conformer will add up, and he'll fall eventually. If you find that you can't survive Shadow Flare or Ultima, you may want to throw in the Master Magic and do M/Barrier now and then to keep yourself alive. I built up Cloud so high (max all stats), that both of them do about 5000 damage a piece. If you have questions about the strategy, feel free to ask. But with this, you won't need Final Attack + Phoenix/Revive at all. I did strength in the ruined reactor, where I built up everyone, but got sick of it after a while. Current gil amount is 109,359,638. I purposely set the camera to fixed for this one example, just to see how much damage I deal. Yuffie's limit was set to level 3, Cloud and Cid remain at level 4. Cloud's meter is almost full, Cid and Yuffie's are at empty. All three are "Fury"'ed. Battle speed is set to 50%. Battle starts, and let the massacre begin!
Can I have my treat now? For the record, my absolute fastest time was 15:45 left on the clock, following this exact same strategy I used. All a matter of luck. But his randomness can still randomly kill me, hence he is the harder weapon.The only way to do better is to send you a VHS of the battle itself...
