There was a 2 week period in April when I also lost complete internet access. I'll bet you were bored out of your ass during that period without net access, right? It's kinda like electricity. You don't think much of it while you have it. But you really miss it once it's gone. Kinda sucked for me, cause during that time, I had no help on my coding projects, so Jade was at a stand still.

So cheer up, you have it back, right?

Ok, let's see here, CAN ANYONE STAY HEALTHY?

Jeff Bagwell: on his way to the DL (shoulder)
Nomar Garciapara: groin tear, out for a long while
Todd Walker: currently on DL (knee)
Kerry Wood: sore shoulder, pretty much touch n go
Eric Gagne: working his way off the DL
Sammy Sosa: placed on DL (absces in foot, and staph infection)
Curt Schilling: currently on DL (ankle)
David Wells: currently on DL
Jim Thome: recently placed on DL
Jason Schmidt: recently placed on DL
Troy Percival: recently placed on DL

There are many many more, way too many to list. Are we sure it's baseball season?

I can assure you, menu's are easy. Although, I haven't figured out how to add icons to the selections yet. It's probably easy, but I haven't really tried to look into it yet.

EnableMenuItem(GetMenu(hWnd), (id of control), (flags));

Flags:
  • MF_BYCOMMAND
    Indicates that uIDEnableItem gives the identifier of the menu item. If neither the MF_BYCOMMAND nor MF_BYPOSITION flag is specified, the MF_BYCOMMAND flag is the default flag.
  • MF_BYPOSITION
    Indicates that uIDEnableItem gives the zero-based relative position of the menu item.
  • MF_DISABLED
    Indicates that the menu item is disabled, but not grayed, so it cannot be selected.
  • MF_ENABLED
    Indicates that the menu item is enabled and restored from a grayed state so that it can be selected.
  • MF_GRAYED
    Indicates that the menu item is disabled and grayed so that it cannot be selected.

Simple example of how to disable and enable any given menu option. From my experiences, I use the MF_BYCOMMAND flag.

Blue's scenario > all. I went through all 7 scenario's and finished with Blue, so he would get the goodies at the end. (It's nothing that great anyway, you can fight the 7 last bosses again, and a couple other things that don't really make any sense) on top of the soundtrack being opened, among other things.

At least release Temporal Flux 2.0b for now!

That would be a bad idea. I'll take a chance and say it's far from finished, so it'll like have a truckload of errors, at the very least. EP: take your time, and good luck to ya.

What OS are you running? (It is important) DX is made differently for the crap OS's (95 and 98) and for the NT based kernel's. If you are using 95 or 98 or ME, try this. It's DX 8.1, since I think DX 9.x no longer supports 95.

Pay close attention to what I have circled, that post was made LAST September. I've been trying to draw this fucking map since LAST SEPTEMBER!

I'm at my breaking point... Tiles drawn, map.................not drawn. I will set it aside until next week, where the map will be attempted one last time. If the map is not drawn by the stroke of midnight, Saturday May 21st going into Sunday the 22nd, then Jade will go without a map editor. I'm tired of fighting this piece of shit. To summarize, if it's not done by next Saturday at midnight, it'll never be done.

--Edit--
PROOF THAT TILES ARE DRAWN.

Wow, my board is trashed... Still got the Eastern Conf finals right though... :p

Tonight ends the great career of one Reggie Miller, of the Indiana Pacers, who were knocked out by the Pistons. Although I'm not a Pacers fan, or a basketball fan, I do appreciate his drive and love for the game. Thank you Reggie, yours is one that we'll likely never see again. And there goes another great that never got a ring...

That only happens to me when I bog the connection down with lots of requests up and down. Usually downloading files causes it too. Then again, you should check your version. I haven't had that problem in a while since I know how to prevent it.

Posted on 05-29-05 11:12 AM, in You guys remember the so called "NHL?" ...... Link
Well, they took a huge hit today, and not because of actions from the PA or the owners. ESPN has declined the 2005-2006 option on their broadcasting. Basically, they only have NBC now as the major market. (ABC is part of ESPN, and I would imagine that's included in the option.)

Full story. The NHL also has contracts with TSN and CBC.

I think they had better get a new contract with FOX going, if they want any shot of ratings. And here's the kicker, the NHL hasn't reached the bottom of the pit yet.

NBA and NFL, you had better pay close attention to the disastor the NHL made for themselves.

I believe it is read in a left -> right, top -> bottom method, like English reading. Starts with color 0 going right, then the next row.

At least I think.

But if the question is "how do I know based on his sprite palette," you'll have to find the palette. Try giving Lord J's Sprite Editor a shot and see if that helps.

Hmmm, it's possible that the autocrossbow uses the finger palette. However, I'm not sure this is the place to find the info you seek. Try here, you might have better luck.

Hmmm, after looking through the "Insert..." list of MSDN, this is what I came up with:

LRESULT InsertGroup(
int index,
PLVGROUP pgrp
);

Parameters
index
The index of the item where the group is to be inserted.
pgrp
A pointer to an LVGROUP structure containing the group to be added.
Return Value
Returns the index of the item that the group was added to, or -1 if the operation failed.

LVGROUP Structure

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Used to set and retrieve groups.

Syntax

typedef struct LVGROUP {
UINT cbSize;
UINT mask;
LPWSTR pszHeader;
int cchHeader;
LPWSTR pszFooter;
int cchFooter;
int iGroupId;
UINT stateMask;
UINT state;
UINT uAlign;
} LVGROUP, *PLVGROUP;
Members

cbSize
Size of an LVGROUP structure.
mask
Specifies which members of the structure are valid input. It can have one or more of the following values.
LVGF_ALIGN
uAlign member is valid.
LVGF_FOOTER
Reserved.
LVGF_GROUPID
iGroupId member is valid.
LVGF_HEADER
pszHeader and cchHeader members are valid.
LVGF_NONE
No other items are valid.
LVGF_STATE
Reserved.
pszHeader
Pointer to a string that contains the header.
cchHeader
Number of characters in the string that specifies the header.
pszFooter
Pointer to a string that contains the footer.
cchFooter
Number of characters in the string that specifies the footer.
iGroupId
Identifier (ID) of the group.
stateMask
Reserved; must be zero.
state
Flag that can have the following value.
LVGS_NORMAL
Groups are expanded, the group name is displayed, and all items in the group are displayed.
uAlign
Indicates the alignment of the header or footer text for the group. It can have one or more of the following values. Use one of the header flags. Footer flags are optional. Windows XP: Footer flags are reserved.
LVGA_FOOTER_CENTER
Reserved.
LVGA_FOOTER_LEFT
Reserved.
LVGA_FOOTER_RIGHT
Reserved.
LVGA_HEADER_CENTER
Header text is centered horizontally in the window.
LVGA_HEADER_LEFT
Header text is aligned at the left of the window.
LVGA_HEADER_RIGHT
Header text is aligned at the right of the window.

If it isn't this, then I dunno. Hope it helps (a longshot is better than no shot at all! :p)

Did anyone see this coming?

Dem damn Yankees....

...were swept...

...by the..Royals?

Yep, after losing 2 of 3 of the only May series to the Red Sox (which included a 17-1 beatdown loss), the Yankees then proceeded to go to the AL central and get swept by the Royals. Go Buddy Bell! The Yankees' next series is against a good team, the Twins. You can almost feel sorry for the Yankees too. Too bad Santana and Unit won't be featured in any of the three games. Lohse, Mays, and Silva against Mussina, Chien-Ming Wang (call-up?), and Kevin Brown respectively. After the Twins series, the Yankees head for a series against the Brewers.

Hmmm, the real question is, are the Yankees really back? Or were the multiple beatdown's on the Devil Rays and AL West (Mariners and A's) just because those teams are that bad?

Yeah, some movie called Star Wars: Attack of the Clones made its network TV debut. Haven't heard too much about it, probably a "B" movie. ("B" means "low budget" movie, like the first Star Trek movie.) How was it?

As for NASCAR, I think that particular race ran like 3 hours late, don't remember why.

Oh well, new eps anyway
