Right story, wrong game. That's in X3. In fact, here's what it says:

Actually, it doesn't matter which ending you get, the message is the same. The only time the endings make a difference is whether or not Zero is standing next to X in that screenshot.

Due to the way some things work, and to save myself a ton of support headaches, this application requires that your ROM be both headerless and non-interleaved.

There is no standard for this, and now you want to force your personal set standard on everyone? Bring on the confusion...

If you cannot bear to have your ROM altered, make a backup copy.

It's not so much that I'm worried about... It's this:

A small warning: through normal usage, this emulator can alter a ROM and even potentially corrupt it. I suggest only using backup copies of a ROM with this application

So you are releasing bug filled and file killing aps now?

Or just do not use my program.

Request granted.

And do forgive the expression, but some lowly hacker can't set the standard of a particular rom type just because of his personal feelings towards it. To attempt so would be rather arrogant and childish... Good job thinking about the "community." And keep in mind, not everyone is going to know about that header being removed. All some people care about (casual gamers) is making sure that the rom works, and the emulator works. You throw in a hack that has basically an entirely different format, and the casual gamer throws said hack away, because it doesn't work. "They should've read the readme." <-- Tell me, WHO READS THE README? Do you honestly expect people to just listen when you tell them what to do and what standards to go by? We are not children, and I for one, will decide for myself what to go by. You, Evil Peer, or anyone else will not make my decisions for me. I hope that's a simple enough concept to understand...

and there is no point to interleaving a rom.

And this means...what exactly?

rom_array[offset + header + other variable] where:
offset is the rom location based on a non-header
header is $200 if the header is detected, otherwise it's 0
other variable would be anything (like if you are doing calculations in a loop for example)

Is that example simple enough to understand?

Although me caring about baseketball is pretty much non-existant, I found this to be rather disturbing.

Flip Saunders, coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves, was fired today. Kevin McHale will take over for the remainder of the season. The story.

Given the recent coach moves with other teams, this raises a real question:

"Where does Phil Jackson go?"

Knicks - hometown and played for team. Isiah Thomas has said he will not coach the team. Lenny Wilckens resigned in January.
Lakers - Kobe will look the other way, and they need a coach
Wolves - they need a coach

Saunders will be reassigned to other duties with the team.

Can anyone say that the Wolves are hurting and pretty much stinking up the joint?

OK, you probably hate my guts at this point. I'll just use the same attitude that you are currently using, which is "I don't care." But hear me out at least...

On one side, you have the rom + header + whatever else there is. The header, as explained before is pretty much useless. That I agree with. So I can very easily see why it should be removed.

The whole interleaving thing just seems odd. Although, how it still works based on what I can understand, is beyond me. I can also understand why that should be straightened up.

What I don't like, however, is that I don't have the option to choose for myself. You're gonna be the next Bill Gates and FuSoYa if you keep this up. And speaking of Fu, LM has been added to the "you made x thing not usable because of your app." That brings the total up to three. Any other app that looks for the header and requires it is an automatic add.

So, here's my lone suggestion for the debugger. Make the removing and de-interleaving an option for the user to choose, that is all.

Also, barring the corrupt thing earlier, does the debugger actually write changes and save them back to the rom while emulating? If that is the case, you could add a second buffer/array which would actually be the one you edit and save so it emulates properly. The first will be the "undo" buffer/array so there isn't a chance of corruption. And if a user changed things that badly, maybe a prompt to save upon exit? *shrug*

Lakers are disappointing, but I saw that coming. Nuggets are disappointing, which I didn't see coming. Wolves are disappointing, which I kinda expected in a small way.

Then there's Dallas, Phoenix, and Seattle. Did anyone see that coming? =\

Dan, I know you have said that you don't wish to see a DS emulator for some time. That is also my wish, but I think there are those that don't give a shit at all... This is gonna make me sick...

Wednesday is D-Day, although there've been about 4 D-Day's now.

Nevertheless, dark times are ahead....

Owners, you are acting like stubborn children. The players gave you probably the best offer any union could ever possibly give. You turned it down...

Players, you are also acting like stubborn children. "Oh no! I'll only make 25 million per year instead of 30 million! THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN! " With a cap, the players that don't make that much are guaranteed a minimum amount, which is a hell of a lot better than your stubborness. Accept the cap, it saved football, and look how it's flourishing.

GET OVER YOUR DAMN SELVES AND SETTLE THIS BULLSHIT!

ugh....

Wednesday is now the absolute FINAL DAY. A news conference is scheduled for noon EST, and the players union have until 11 am to accept the NHL's final deal. If a deal is not agreed on, the season will be canceled at the news conference. If a deal is reached, then the season is on.

If the deal is met, then all thirty teams will have a 28 game schedule, and the full 16 team playoff system.

A few teams are floating around 90, and then work your way down to the 60 range. *shrug* It's insane, really. The NBA cap is a joke of a system, since there's two or three levels to it or something like that.

As for whoever loses...Colleen, EVERYBODY loses. The players want to play, the owners want to play. I personally have to blame the union in this case. If you watched the news conference, they were coming off like they were the victim in every way, shape, and form. I don't think I need to tell you that it is UTTER BULLSHIT!
