I must be as vague as possible on thread title.  Apparently "Posted on..." for the post date isn't clear enough (or big enough) on each post. The FAQ doesn't mention it either. Might I recommend that this info be added, or "Posted on..." being made bold, italics, underline, hell, OR.... Make a timer that auto-closes threads after a month of inactivity so this doesn't happen! 99% of people just make new threads anyway... | Just one tiny problem: Owners: "We want a salary cap!" Players: "We don't, but we'll give you back 24% of our salary!" "Owners: "We want a salary cap!" Players: "..." Owners: "We want a salary cap!" The union leader and the commish have absolutely nothing invested in this. They both seem like corrupted fuckheads. The players are losing money, and the owners are losing money. Because of this lockout, the NHL will never be the same again. It's been on a downward spiral already, there's no TV contract, NASCAR has passed them in ratings. I mean, come on. It needs to find the glory it once had, until then, hockey will be a lost memory. I hope for that slim chance that there might yet be a season, but I'm starting to doubt it more and more as the days pass. The NHL has many problems right now, and part of it is that it seems to have lost it's general appeal. I don't find myself drawn to hockey as I did 6 years ago. I don't know why either, the drive is gone. Part of the problem is, not that many people really miss the sport, except for the die hards, the players, and the owners. This may as well be the NHL's last chance to revive the sport, if it fails here...then it may be dead. |

| This and this should be a great help in that quest. QB was my first, but it was a horrible language to begin with, and with my experience with QB, I didn't even want to know how bad VB was. So I chose C++ instead. It's not so bad if you can understand the concept of how something is done. After that, it becomes a sinch, although it still takes time. Good luck to ya. | It could be minized, have you tried clicking on it? --Edit-- After some discussion, try giving focus to it. Then alt+space, select move. Move it on screen. With that, it would mean that it was somehow moved off screen. Hope it helps. (edited by Lenophis on 01-27-05 01:25 AM) |
