I stay logged in 100% of the time here

Nobody else is allowed to touch this computer, so I dont have to worry.

We really need to get over the hastle of switching servers so the board gets its activity up again.

Well, the last couple of days have consisted of me...

At a band competition.
Doing homework
Marching band practice
Private lessons
More homework.

So, thats where Ive been

Yeah... Uhhh, last time I checked, my homecoming is about 3 weeks away... and my friend so kindly reminded me of something Ive been dodging for a while. Asking a girl and getting through the dance.

Alright, heres the short story. I met her last year, we were in the same band. One of my friends knew her, and introduced her to me. My section leader was currently going out with her, and I just met her, so... I didnt have THAT much of an attraction to her. They broke up, she started swooning over Seniors (She was a freshmen like me mind you) and we became closer friends during lunch. This "habit" broke, and it was way past homecoming, and she was accepted into our "possie". About halfway through freshmen year, I became slightly attracted to her, never saying anything, but getting to know her better through the year. We got on a good level of friendship by the end of the year, then summer came.

Marching band comes at the end of summer, and I think she totally forgot about me. So we still have one lunch together and one class (not band) and we catch up a little. The subject of homecoming comes along, our lunch group talks about who is going or not. I say not sure because Im not much of a dance person, but then I hear she was asked by someone and she turned him down. My friend so kindly told me this just now, and we had a long discussion about homecoming.

Now I think I want to actually take her... and I have no clue how.

Ive had 0 dating experience up to this point. I have no clue on how to approach her, and even if she did say yes, Id still have no clue how to actually get through the pre-dance, the dance, and the after dance. Emphasis on the "I cant dance at all" part

All of you people who went through this, please share a little wisdom.
