It wasn't walmart.. just a rogue employee. Jeeze, the store itself isn't death, folks. Just don't piss off an employee.

Taking a break is good. You don't need to always have a boyfriend, especially when they all seem to turn out being jerks.. The right one will come around at some point, you don't have to go through a million klutz guys to find him.

That's how it is, Trapster. Not as wide as the other ones, but it's easy to get used to.

Not ANYMORE. I'm sure Texas was quite the place to be if you were a cowboy way back when.. same with California (I think.. ) but now it's not that way.

Posted on 08-26-05 07:00 AM, in FAQ / TOS Link
It's a bit of a mix.. there are questions that are frequently asked, but then there are also terms and rules you have to follow. I suppose if there were two different pages newbies had to read, chances are one or both will be ignored. And everybody knows what a FAQ is, so I guess it's a good name.
If there was a TOS, and then FAQ below (for questions like "How do you pronounce Acmlm" and "where can I host pics here for my hack"), it wouldn't be a bad idea. Just have all of it easily accessable and on one easy page for newbies. It's hard enough getting them to read the FAQ alone, isn't it?

Posted on 08-26-05 08:50 AM, in FAQ / TOS Link
The nice thing about it being called the FAQ is everyone knows what it is. But I guess if all newbies were redirected after registering to a TOS.. it wouldn't be bad. But I still think they need to be on the same page, both FAQs and TOSs, or else one will be missed. Which is not what we want.
I think most just accept it as being called the FAQ, without taking it out of it's initial form so it sounds so funky.

Well it's like that with lots of things now, isn't it? You hear of doctors prescribing antibiotics for a common cold just to make the patient happy that they have medicine.. people are overdiagnosed because it's easier to tell them they have a problem. It's like an excuse.
Rather sad, really... dramatizing things that way. I understand not everyone is like that though. Don't consider this a flame to those of you here with Autism.

What's worse is ADD (Attention Definite Disorder). When I grew up during Elementary School, basically all of my friends supposedly had ADD and had to take medication for it. It hardly seemed to effect them, at all. But I guess that's for another topic ...

You mean Attention Deficit Disorder?
And yes, another example of what I mean. People believe that by putting an active, hyper child on ritalin, it will help them because they must have ADD. Not true. Which leads to the many cases of overdiagnosing today.
