| I'm going to my Aunt's house, where I always go for this holiday. She's the only relative of mine that lives in a city where fireworks are allowed. Even though having to sit around my dad's family all day is dull, the fireworks are fun entertainment. My brother and I are responsible for lighting them all off. We also get more than our fair share of illegals, some of which are really really fun to light off. A couple years ago when I went there, the neighbors put up the best show ever. They were cooking out by their pool when someone kicked over the can of lighter fluid into the pool. Soon after, the little 4 year old who was holding a sparkler got a little too close.. BOOM. I've never seen an actual fireball go up into the air, but that's what this was. That 4th of July was ruined because there were cops and firemen on the street the whole night. No illegals.  |

| I agree with Slay, putting a label on yourself won't do you any good. A name like "bisexual" isn't going to make you think any clearer, if that's what you're hoping for. With this girl, don't rush it. You don't know her well enough yet to talk to her about it, or to find out if she's feeling the same thing (there's always a chance, right?). I think the best thing you can do is swallow your daydreams and just get to know her, and maybe that could change your situation. If you know she's out of your league for obvious reasons like being straight, then you should start working on getting over her. She's not the one for you with a barrier like that. If you're still questioning how serious you are about your preference, I wouldn't jump into any relationship yet. You're just going to confuse yourself and hurt the person you're with. Think through this first. |

| A few years ago, my brother and I laid out a roll of 5,000 firecrackers in the middle of the street, lit one, and ran inside while they went off. The entire roll. People were out of their houses looking at who did it, but they didn't know. And they couldn't stop it either. It ended up being about 15 minutes of nonstop BAMBAMBAMBAMBAM, it was hilarious.
