Heh, my old neighbors were like that. A teenage guy a couple years older than me who had absolutely no taste in music would invite half the world to his house and it'd go on all night. This was like, every weekend. My stereo just couldn't beat it.
But thankfully, I don't live there anymore. If I did, I'd blast that recording of rammstein pwning them. It'd work like magic.

I saw the WTC news when I woke up that morning. My mom was calling me to turn the tv on, so I did, and it was all over the news. I didn't get to watch a lot of it because I had to go to school, but everyone was in a frenzy about it there. Teachers even let us watch it during class. I went home after school and saw it on the news all night. I was only 12, so it was a little creepy.

Well no, I've got nothing on Ashley when it comes to games, haha.

And I never liked anime, but if I did it'd be futile. My parents think the same thing about it, that it's like porn. My nephew started to get into it and my whole family told him to find a different hobby. So I introduced him to good old nintendo.

I hate that too. Especially when it's my dad, because he'll stand there and ask me what I'm doing. He doesn't need to look at people's layouts or inside jokes on the board.

Nor do I want him to read IRC or any of my AIM convos, so I have to sit here with nothing opened with a >8( look on my face until he goes away.

I'm not sure if the US uses the same system but they do censor. In Canada, swearing is censored until 7PM and nudity until 11. Of course, this doesn't apply to things like movies.

I think it depends on which stations you watch. ABC, for example, has rules for which words can be said during certain hours because that way, more kids will be allowed to watch. There are tv ratings for this, and shows that don't allow swearing have a PG rating that parents let their kids watch. It can all be pre-programmed nowadays.
