Hello, folks. My name's MyLiverHurtz (or Kevin, if you prefer). I live in central Canada and came to these boards at the direction of Smallhacker when I asked him about getting into ROM hacking. I enjoy computer programming and scripting, along with such things as creative writing and acting. All of my interests hover around creating things. I'm generally mild-spoken and easy-going, so I have no doubt I'll be able to fit into these boards. I look forward to getting to know you all better. |

Oh, I have a sense of humour. A pansy bitch that doesn't get any? I would love to know how that expression came to be |

I learned QBasic after Visual Basic and some C++, so I had made an entire game on my first day of downloading a compiler and tutorial

I haven't found my Vault CD yet, so the only DOS games on my computer I still play are ZZT and MegaZeux, both are old ASCII game creation systems that still have a following.

I've been thinking a lot about buying a GameCube or GBA, as the only console I own is a good ol' N64. I was going to save up and buy a GBA SP, but then I decided to save instead for a DS... As for PSP, I don't care how good the technical specs looks. I'm a Nintendo child through and through, and I've always felt I've loved the games a lot more. The system sellers for Nintendo are a far too appealing to buy anything else. |

Hi there. Is anyone here anticipating Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich? It's a sequel to the 2001 sleeper hit Freedom Force by Irrational Games. The game was/is fairly popular according to the numbers but I never see much about it in any online forums, its a shame considering how obsessed I've been with it for years.

That's be great I've only just started hacking. I've fooled around with SMW, SMB, and Pokemon Red... right now I'm working with my friend to make a complete overhaul of SMB and learning how to hack without editors using Pokemon Red.

I've done some rather extensive research on Sweden for my civics class. Personally I think Sweden is better due to the higher quality of life and the general socialist nature sits well with me, as I was brought up with those values here in Canada. (edited by MyLiverHurtz on 09-07-04 03:10 PM) |

I don't think Canada has any Six Flags theme parks... I know in central Canada we have two major theme parks, the closest one to me is "Paramount Canada's Wonderland", situated in Toronto.

I completely understand what these hackers go through. What is the point of putting your sweat and blood into something - when you don't need to - when you feel that nobody would benefit or even care about how much time and effort your sacrificing? I intend to start giving feedback as soon as I start downloading these things and trying them. Right now I'm just getting my bearings when it comes to everything around hacking. |

I often doze off and find someone poking me awake, but those aren't deep sleeps where the teacher actually comes up and shakes me awake. That's only happened a few times, only once in High School. And I did have good emotional excuses for annoying insomnia at the time. |
