If you're referring to how to convert a 16 million color bitmap (or whatever format, it really doesn't matter) into a 16 bit SNES graphics file. There's no real easy way to do that, unless your favorite tile editor makes use of a very good color reduction algorithm (I know YY-CHR makes use of one but it's not exactly what I would call the best in the world). You're better off just ripping from a savestate. Someone really needs to make a tutorial for ripping from savestates, it's about the easiest process in the world... once you know what you're doing. |

The levels either feel too empty or too cluttered. You need to work on your sprite placement a bit. The overworld could also use some touchups, especially when lining up your cliff edges. Besides that, you're not doing a bad job with the original tilesets. |

Edit: Or just ignore what I said. Does the patch screw up the same thing on the DW rom when you apply it to that? You said it worked. |

As you may have noticed, I haven't exactly been making a lot of progress on JAMH recently. This is mainly because I have been HELLA busy with work recently, and while I do have plenty of free time at work, storing illegal roms on my work computer is not exactly the smartest thing to do. So I'm looking for help. Anyone with extensive level design experience is welcome to audition for the role of Chief Level Designer for me. I'll still be working on the tilesets, and will of course be making levels of my own, but a joint venture would benefit everyone, I think. So if you think you've got what it takes to help me out, let me know. You will need to provide some examples of your work. |

Please send examples of your work (unlocked if you can, so I can look at the backside of your levels) to me at jugglingjoker@gmail.com. Experience with using ExGFX, not necessarily designing graphics, is also a plus. |

You could, perhaps, move World 7 onto the bottom part of the main world map, and free up a couple submaps. |

That was just an example. You could move World 1 onto the main map and give it a new border. You don't have to follow the original maps exactly, creative combinations of old maps would give your port a refreshing angle. |
