PCX is a slim possibilty, because I would have to convert from PCX to SNES before testing it anyway (PCX isn't tile based either, as far as I know), which would be a waste of time. PCX2SNES is a fine enough program.

Ah, now I see. It wouldn't be THAT hard to change what memory address each of those actions writes to... if you know where the routines are.

Edit: Easy, as compared to completely rewrting a sprites behavior, editting the level load code, etc.

HackSMW: If you use the original Demo World as your base (the copy on Fu's site is unlocked), you can use the non-bouncy breakable bricks.

Get it here.

I added support for some other commonly used formats. Namely NES 2BPP, GB 2BPP, and 1BPP. Other formats are in the works. Also, the program can now recognize mirrored versions of previously found tiles, which is a huge step in effiency as compared to the last version.

If you find any bugs, let me know. Also, send me the file in question and I'll work it out. The next release will probably be directly in the ROM Hacking forum, as really, there isn't much I'm going to add that applies strictly to SMW Hacking anymore.

EDIT again: I'm beginning to think I should PROOFREAD my posts before making them.

It's nice to see we still have some hackers using just the original graphics. There's an undeniable charm associated with the original stuff that a lot of new graphics can't compare to.
