| Back at the river, somewhat upstream to where Kirbynite was, stood Teddylot and Zap. Teddylot was wearing some oversized Wellington boots and a blue sombrero. Zap was sitting on the bank, somewhat worried. Teddylot: *sings* IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'm a fishin', in a river, in my booties, and my sombrero-- Zap: Umm, Teddylot. Teddylot: Yeah? Zap: Don't you hear ear-splitting screams, endless rioting, and a constant chant of the 'I love you' song? Teddylot: Nope, I only hear the wonderful melody of my impromptu song, and your constant paranoia. Zap: whatever. Suddenly, Zap's mightily convenient wrist radio rang. It was Twister. The third party of the whacky trio. He had decided to stay up on Neo Grape Gardens due to a certain Teen Titans Marathon or something. There was a short conversation between Zap and his communicator until he promptly flipped it shut. Zap: Bad news. There are Barneys attacking the city. Teddylot: Bouncing bobulas! Which city? Zap: The one just around the corner. Teddylot: Cornily Convenient! Zap: Stop that. Teddylot: Don't ruin my fun. I'm feeling very old school at the moment. The two then dashed off around the river's bend after a brief entanglement with Teddylot's oversized wellingtons. |

| Teddylot and Zap finally made it onto the destruction scene. Both of them looked around in confusion. Zap: Looks like the job's already done. Man, these stories go way too fast sometimes. Teddylot: No kidding. Teddylot wandered from his friend to find that their was still one conscious Barney around his size. The bear mearly nudged it away, but the Barney kept on coming. The teddy bear, somewhat peeved, smacked it with his, now-wielded, spear. After finding that it just kept on going, he smacked it again, and again, and again, faster and more until the bear lay there, dog-tired. Ticked, the bear spun his spear then promptly jabbed it through the head. Teddylot: You know, you're just as annoying as that Energizer Bunny. Zap: Hey look Teddylot, the Weatherdark! Kirb and the others must have gathered hear, too. Teddylot: Look what I got. Dinner. *holds up Barney on a stick* Zap: Ewww, you don't know where that's been. Throw it away. Teddylot: We could sterilize it. Zap: Don't. Teddylot pulled out a small lighter and held it underneath the malfunctioned Barney. FWOOOM! Zap: Okay, you've had your fun. C'mon, we don't want the rest of the gang to leave without us. Teddylot dashed onto the |

| It was day. A perfect time to skulk around the city, making sure everything was hunky-dory. The Jester ran ontop of the buildings, climbed around the fire escape, moving briskfully and cautious. This was only his third day as a superhero. Unlike Superman or the Flash, he was more of a Robin-esk hero, using advanced technology and some fighting skills to take down his foes. Of course, it was his resourcefulness that got him the job as sidekick of the Justice League. Yes, you heard correctly. The Jester (Jest) was recruited by the Justice League to look after the large city of Detroit, a so-far superhero-less city, but he really thought it was for some 'financial' issues. He was a very un-orthodox superhero. Instead of sporting colored undies, he wore casual jeans and a checkered button-up shirt. To protect his identity, however, he sported a blue and white mask with one way eyepieces. Just for show, he does wear a blue and white Jester's hat. Unfortunately, his character lacked experience, patience, and tended to jump into battle a bit too quickly. As he was flying across the rooftops, he managed to hear a peace-disturbing car alarm. He staggered a bit as he landed and leaned over the roof to get a good look. He spotted a small, mysterious characeter next to the car, alongside someone else who has been knocked out. Jest: *sigh* Looks like I better butt in. Jest jumped from his location, despite the fact that he was 46 stories high. He caught himself on the building's fire escape ladder, which promptly latched off and rung down to the street sidewalk. He jumped off and walked over to the mysterious person. Jest: I'd step away from that car if I were you. |

| I'd be The Jester . . . but I wouldn't have any superpowers like those other wimpy superheroes. Instead, I'd rely on my cunning resourcefulness and wide array of high-tech gadgets to take down my foes. A regular Batman, some might call me, but a lot less gloomy. |

| Character: Teddylot Age: Good Question. Hometown: Neo Grape Gardens, Floating above Earth Birthplace: Somewhere in Canada. Date of Birth: This goes with age. Height: 2 feet. Weight: Feathery Job: Resident funster! Signature Attire: A pair of ragged jeans with magic pockets that can carry anything and everything. IQ: Probably really high. Fur: Yogi Bear Brown Eyes: Black beady ones. Species: Teddius Bearus Structure: Skinny, with big, round feet. Weapons: Spear, hammer, and a bar of soap are his more infamous weapons, but he does use whatever he finds in his pockets. Mode of Transportation: Boy, any way conceivable. Character: He's very innocent and honest. He usually notices things that others don't which can sometimes land him in trouble. He's kind of annoying, but once you get to know him, you know that he can't really help it. The most important thing about this bear is that he loves to have fun and loves to lighten people's spirits. His curiosity usually gets him in trouble, but he normally finds a way to figure things out. Family: He has some, but they are currently unknown to everyone but him. Bio: This teddy bear comes from a supposed extinct tribe of Teddy bears in the forests of Canada. He was expelled from the tribe after doing something pretty bad. He then found friends in Zap and Twister when he traveled across the border to Detroit. From then on, he and his newfound friends go on numerous adventures with and without the AF. At a more personal note, he likes video games and exploring through Zap's lab. Famous Quote: 'And then you see it, an actual busload of nuns about to run into an oil truck.' -- From some of his unrecorded adventures. Character: Zap Full Name: Porter James Why the Alias: Childhood antics, now used for nostalgia purposes. Age: 15 Hometown: Neo Grape Gardens, Floating above Earth Birthplace: Detroit, Michigan Date of Birth: October 26, 1988 Height: 5' Weight: 86 lbs. Job: Part time Student, part time inventor, all around genius. Signature Attire: Baggy jeans, a white shirt under a red checkered button-up shirt (open of course), a backwards blue cap, and a pair of glasses. IQ: Way above any of yours Hair: Dirty blond, evenly long all around, ends right above the eyes, always messy. Eye Color: Dark Brown Species: Human Structure: Skinny Inventions: -Microscope glasses -- can magnify to up to 1000x -A whole ton of transport vehicles -A small robot that does whatever Zap doesn't want to (much like Melvin's GIMs) -A lot more (will be edited whenever another one appears in the stories) Weapons: -A staff -A wide array of portable discs that let out their secret on unsuspecting prey. -More gizmos (will be edited whenvever another one appears in the stories) Family: unknown thus far Character: A very outgoing person, Zap loves to accompany Teddylot on all of his adventures. He's usually very stable and witty, but when a girl he's never seen before comes around, he's 'a bumbling bufoon' (Teddylot). Very smart, Zap is the stereotypical genius of the bunch. He can build anything you tell him to, but has a few problems when he has to invent things on his own, since he isn't very creative. People constantly tell him that he should just skip school and dedicate full time to inventing, but he's a sole believer that you can learn something new everyday, that 'wisdom isn't knowledge' (Hemingway), and that you shouldn't rush your childhood away. Bio: Zap grew up in Detroit Michigan. At the age of eight, he was thrown out of the house for being too 'stupid' and 'burdensome' when his mother died. He then went to live with his neighbor, Twister. Just two years ago, Teddylot came to their doorstep asking whether they've seen a white rabbit, and from that day forward, he and his friends have been going on adventure after adventure. Zap: 'I can always learn something from my friends, but never from my teachers' -- on some of his unrecorded adventures. Character: Twister Name: Sam Campbell Why the Alias: see Zap Age: 15 Hometown: Neo Grape Gardens, Floating above Earth Birthplace: New York City Date of Birth: July 29, 1988 Height: 4'11" Job: Creative partner with Zap Signature Attire: Jeans with a red long sleeved shirt IQ: 124 Hair: Black dreadlocks Eye Color: Light Blue Species: Human Structure: Medium sized, but can pass for skinny, somwhat muscular Weapons: Doesn't fight, but if he has to, Zap lends him a staff. Character: Lazy, this guy doesn't like to do anything that requires work if he can avoid it. If it's something he likes to do, like design Zap's inventions to make them more practical and cool, he'll be up and at 'em. He's very artistically skilled and pretty smart. He also wants to be a comic book artist when he gets older which shows that he's a big dreamer, and he works hard to improve his skills daily. He's also not Teddylot's biggest fan, since the teddy bear constantly gets on his nerves, which would explain why he doesn't often accompany his two friends on their adventures. However, at times, when their is nothing on TV, Twister gives in and joins the fun. Bio: Twister started his life out in New York City, but quickly changed cities, moving to Detroit where he became Zap's neighbor and all time friend. When Zap was thrown out of his house by his father, the boy and his family readily took him in. When Teddylot came along, Twister started out enjoying the constant adventures, but when the grew moved to Neo Grape Gardens, he had decided to buckle down away from the constant hustle and bustle of his friends. | I've recently gotten into comics last month when I one up at my local Waldenbooks. From then on, I've picked up and tried various other books that I can find. So far, I've decided to collect a few issues, while the others I leave in the dust after an arc or a couple of issues for various reasons. So far I have decided to collect: Spectacular Spider-man Teen Titans The Flash Marvel Knights: Captain America Green Arrow and Bone (which already coming to an end this April) Note: These are susceptible to change if some of them fall drastically to my criteria or if the constant change of artists and writers just bugs me a bit too much. (My near incident with Human Torch: The Locust Project series.) I've also had my fair share of comic strips and foreign comics that please my eye. In fact, my utmost love for them (and cartoons ^^) had prompted me to check out their. My other favorites are: Calvin and Hobbes Bloom County Opus Asterix Tintin Lucky Luck and many more. Yeah, that's enough out of me. |

| Teddylot heard something move about in the brush nearby. He was still covered in grass and couldn't see what it was. In an immediately reaction, the bear fired two shots with his new energy blaster. He couldn't see if he hit his unseen target, but at least it provided a way out of the grass. Twister: What did you do that for? Teddylot: I thought I heard something. Twister: You're not supposed to shoot everything you see. Teddylot: But I shot at something I heard. Twister: *groan* Well, at least we have a better path now. |

I was gonna use Speedy, Green Arrow's sidekick, as an allusion, but I didn't think most readers would get it.)) Jest: What do you take me for? A villain? I see perfectly that you're trying to inconspicuously jack that car., like a professional czar of the underground or something. The Jester reached into his pocket and pulled out a flying disk, which when let off, froze the Dreamlander's feet to the ground. Jest: I'm gonna have to turn you in for attempted burglary. 'This is too easy' he said to himself. He took some rope from his side and slowly walked forward to secure the Dreamlander. Unsuspecting that he was in for a much wilder ride |

| Down on the city streets, Teddylot and The Jester appeared from a bright, blue beam, much like what one used to see in those old Star Trek episodes. They both looked around a bit expecting the least from their newly acquired challenge. Teddylot: Man, this is going to be plenty easy. I think I'll be able to be home by second lunch. Jest: Don't be so sure. Personally, I hope that this challenger poses some sort of a threat. Teddylot: Why so? Jest: So I can gain some experience in being a superhero. I hope to be just as good as Batman someday. Teddylot: Superheroism and fame are overrated. *bends over to look at something on the ground* The only thing you really need in life is a little whimsy, fun. Teddylot looked up and spotted an unidentified figure on one of the smaller skyscrapers. He promptly took out his photon blaster and shot it up towards the sky. The wily bear was usually quick to act in that way, not really thinking of the consequences. The Jester staggered and caught his guard until he realised that it was only his teddy bear sidekick. He let out a deep sigh. Jest: Why the Jenkins did you do that? Teddylot: There was an unidentified somebody up there. I decided to play it safe. Jest: Safe? That's not safe, it's reckless. Besides, that could've been an innocent bystander. Teddylot: Bah, that's no innocent stander byer. He's evil, why else would he go around in a cape, looking sinister, on the top of a skyscraper? Jest: *squints in the direction to where the shots were fired* How can you tell? Noneoftheless, it's still reckless. You need to think before firing aimlessly and things you think you see. | Teddylot: *runs up to Mario all starry eyed* I'm a big fan of yours, and I was wondering if I could get your John Han--! Mario was silently powering up one of his fireballs while the bear was unconscious with glee. Luckily, The Jester stopped the attack by throwing one of his ice discs at the famous Nintendo star (causing him to be covered in ice.) The hero then roped in Teddylot using the one he had by his side. Jest: *pulls Teddylot away from the clones* Next time be more cautious.
