Ever noticd that all message boards have an eerie resemblence? Like Invision, EZ, Acmlm, YABB? Are they "stolen"? No. They are just similar in format... Why? They are all message boards. Get over it, there is only so much you can do to be creative. Acmlm isn't that different from any other board system. Cut RCP some slack, it's obviously very beta, and because you were told about it doesn't mean you should prematurely announce it.

There is a general level of respect between programmers when it comes to sharing projects before they're finished... It's a rule of thumb you don't expose a project to an audience too early... The preview was meant for you and you alone.

Strange... I never encountered this problem. I have QBX on my XP computer.

Have you tried running it via other command prompts? For instance, I primarily use Cygwin instead of DOS prompt.

Ok... Because this seems to be a problem on multiple acmlm boards and I've seen no publicly released patch... I have made one.

For editprofile.php and function.php. It works on 1.92 as well as Erk+1.9.

Guys, just FYI...

Do NOT use my patch code right now. I found that serious exploits still exist... I will post new patch code in a seperate thread after it's been THOROUGHLY tested. (EDIT: Done.)

Anyhow, Laxid, couldn't you just insert an IP into the SQL IP log, thus making the board think you are anyone?
