| Funny fact about the three of us that have posted in the thread... Wales, Norway, Canada. Wales plays both Norway and Canada at the end of the month. Denmark was a bit more different though - the fact that Yugoslavia was in turmoil *KINDA* made it hard to allow them to send a competitive team. |

I doubt 2D will totally die even with the new consoles. |
RPG's should still be alive and well especially on the DS - imagine playing a 2D RPG on one screen and having a touchscreen menu on the top. I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon - too much of a market and there's still unique things that can be done. (restricted) |

Plus a lot of games end up going through translations before seeing a European release - French, Spanish, Italian, etc. Depends on the game. And some are "censored" - Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) received a few changes.

The Wario Ware demo has 2D elements and so does the Super Mario Bros. demo. Although that is basically 2D with 3D graphics.Viewtiful Joe was also announced for the DS I think.

I'm really glad they decided to ditch the windwaker sequel idea. It sounded pretty bad... Tetras Trackers, what the HELL. |
That wasn't going to be the sequel to Wind Waker. Tetra's Trackers was a mini-game included on Zelda: Four Swords (GC) in Japan. The problem was that the mini-game... well, wasn't very good and would need a LOT of work to be localized. So it was axed from the American version.
