Then again, JP2 was supposed to be a transitional pope himself from what I recall... Look how that turned out.

Here's the thing though... the top-end model is basically the console + the HD with everything else added in free price-wise. So the idea of just selling the HD for $99... boggles the mind. I thought 20GB HD's were... well... DIRT CHEAP.

Yeah... I can't see why people make arguments AGAINST pirating MS products.

The *ONLY* decent way to get them is with a student discount, which at least ensures that you might get Office for $79 or something like that. Beats $499.

Other games run (one of the Bust-A-Move games does I think) on PCSX2, but if the game solely uses 3D graphics... it'll range from "really slow" to "not working".

0.9 is going to come out eventually (if you visit the website, take a look at the picture CAREFULLY otherwise you'll be fooled like I was) and there's some BIG improvements... FFX is playable now but still isn't very fast obviously, and apparently the three playable Nippon Ichi games received huge speed-ups; as well, Disgaea has sound now.

Speed-wise, I get around 50-60% with Disgaea and Makai... that'll go up with the new version. On the other hand, I can get between 80-90% for La Pucelle.

I know Canada's looked at the possibility but we're not overly concerned. We have a ton of vaccine saved up just in case, and apparently are very well prepared for any flu outbreak.
