Geeeeeez. Thank God I wasn't a Genesis owner then or I would have played PS instead of FF... and my parents would probably flip over paying $120-130 for *A* game.

Gut feeling is that something's shown at the TGS or before Christmas in one of the magazines there (maybe Famitsu).

I wouldn't be surprised if they're putting in a lot of effort on this port given the fact it's the only one of the early FF's never to be re-released on any platform.

I'm guessing SMB's influence played a role although if they were going for best game both influence AND gameplay wise and it had to be a Nintendo game... yeah. SMB3 for sure.

Culturally, FF7 should be higher but you can make a case for a lot of RPG's/games being better than it. It's a really sticky topic but I think it should be on any top 100 list. Where it's put depends on what the list's aim is.

And I think IGN might have an anti-Sega bias... I remember GameSpot has an anti-Nintendo bias sometimes, I remember the Super Smash Bros. Melee review (despite getting a high 8) sounding more like a mid-7 game.

Mr. Freeze is a delicious flavored ice popsicle that comes in lots of great flavors, including Cream Soda.

Captain Cool sounds too much like Cap'n Crunch, which isn't one of my favorite breakfast cereals.

No auto-lock unless someone adds it. It'll close at either 5,000 or whenever one of us sees that it's over the limit, at which point it'll go into Display Case and someone will start #5.

Korean or Chinese since they're really starting to get into online gaming as well.

I'm going to call "other factors" as a cause of the death. Maybe he didn't have a great heart to begin with and it just crapped out as a result of the stress.
