So you say.

I'm on a two-game win streak now. TWO GAMES. That's a record. (Granted, a lot of my losses were a year ago and in 3/4-way matches, but still.)

G4 here doesn't have anime. The reason for that is because originally the channel came here as TechTV Canada, and their license didn't mention anime. Therefore they have to black it out and replace it with other programming.

Channels are pretty much the same aside from the anime thing and the fact that Call For Help still airs in Canada.

No contest. Super Metroid was pretty much the game that was the catalyst for modern-day adventure games, and was just so immersive for a 16-bit game.

Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout (NES).

The game itself is a fun little romp that I enjoyed in Grade 4, but... I kinda finished the game in one night. Yeah. Bad bad sign right there.

Yup. And maybe if I play NSNick soon, we'll be in business.

Of course, then I'd have to wait for the entire part of the bracket above me to get moving...

Didn't check Wikipedia, hm Kitten Yiffer?

You'd be right though. It's when Canada itself came into existence when the British North America Act was signed.

Yeah, basically the activity is pretty evenly spread out today. Nobody's spreeing or anything but everyone's pretty active.

I did expect activity to possibly go down a bit anyways because of the long weekend in the States.

It's a general discussion thread that sometimes has nothing to do with the board.

Lots of video game talk as well for some strange reason. Can't complain about the thread's randomness though.

Just got it changed last year but it's a stuck on the wall one which is adjustable.

It's pretty powerful though... don't really need to adjust it. I rarely take baths now to begin with.

Usually a birthday thread wouldn't appear in LT because... not everyone checks the place, of course.

Happy birthday.

Well, Bob Geldof didn't *deserve* to be there looking at past musical accomplishments, but I can overlook that seeing as how he *did* kinda organize the thing and put in a couple of hours for it... and he only did one song. He's allowed to be greedy.

(Of course, The Killers only got one song and I can't understand that logic at all.)

Canada's concert is worth looking out for when the DVD hits, I think. Fun to see the "old" acts get cheered, Rex Murphy (who wrote a newspaper article saying Live 8 won't work) get booed, and Celine Dion get... well... crapped on by the audience.

Would be nice to know the friend's name but it's not necessary... not like we have or need a referral system.

Welcome to the board.

Lots of kids around here do have a part-time job during school and manage it... however, they don't work a long time to begin with. :\ The government here recommends that students work no more than 15 hours/week during school, because studies have shown that their grades suffer if they work more than that.

But still, you'd probably still have free time and all... it depends. If you need the money or want the experience, go for it.

I don't think games where you can't die should count though.

Yeah... comments like that every single day = not good. Pretty much an excuse to post, to be perfectly honest. :\ Don't have to analyze your performance every day.
