Oh come on, we ALL know that with the enhancements Google's been making, it was only a matter of time before Earth went Beta.

GOOGLE EARTH - BETA VERSION 165

- Made further changes to the environmental model; the ozone layer takes slightly less damage than before.
- Adjusted water levels on a few parts of the Gulf of Mexico coastline.
- Tweaked North Korea's political system so that the threat of nuclear weapons being used diminishes.
- More detail added to Estonia, southern Chile, Fiji, Myanmar, East Timor, Jersey and Martinique.
- Added all natural disasters that have taken place within the next few weeks.
- Added hurricane module for the United States - now hurricanes will occur randomly during hurricane season.
- Updated endangered species lists.
- Banned a few hundred users in Iraq who were using the software for malicious purposes.

OK, *MAYBE* Quebec but this was still the English system. You'd think the topic would have come up sooner or later. Thank God I never got a test question on it...

Red and Blue Bubbles are DEFINITELY in Zelda Classic - they needed to add them in when porting over the Second Quest.

Hey now, just because someone's grammar is good doesn't mean they'll end up being the best guy/girl in the world. But if nothing else, it's an encouraging start.

Welcome.

Hey, I remember I used to have one of those! It even had a Game Boy emulator on it and everything. Great times.

Then... yeah... they kinda became obsolete. Certainly not complaining though.

Bet you anything that whole mess ends up only being a 10-15 minute segment.

Considering the matches that have been announced so far, you can't help but drool PROVIDED they don't work WWE-style.

PAH. For years the Royal Canadian Air Farce up here in Canada frequently had skits with "Jean Chretien" mispronouncing words such as the election/erection issue and NOBODY had any problems with that.

I don't see what's so *bad* about the video... It's not PC at all but I guess that Reynolds just wanted to have a bit of fun. The Chinese/flipping out parts were just wrong but in a good way. Bet you anything there's a NFL team out there that's done worse.

(And ouch on the Ryan Leaf shot.)

See, this is what we have the GBA and the DS for. More sidescrolling 2D games.

(I don't think the genre's ever going to die, but more developers want to push the envelope instead.)

Lots of those games only "lead you" in the right direction if you choose to have it do so - Metroid Prime was one such example. You could either go around blindly or have the game give you a general idea of where to head.

Just three and a half more years... that's what I keep reminding myself when it comes to Bush. :\

Never know... the next prez might decide this is (rightly) a pretty stupid idea. That money *needs* to go into defending the country, yup. Education and health are fine I suppose.

You could rack up 100+ points by that time if you were really crazy, Taryn. And then you could just cross your fingers and hope it's enough or something.

(Or you sneak in a laptop and see if you can get a wireless signal. )

Maybe the chocolate chip waffles had freezer burn or something along those lines. Or maybe he just associates them with "dessert" instead of "breakfast/lunch" which isn't a good association in my opinion.

Now I need to go to Tim Hortons tomorrow and get a donut. Or a cinnamon bun. Theirs are good... Crapload of icing on the bun for a grand total of a dollar or so.

Even if *that* promotion was in Canada, the nearest Krispy Kreme is all the way on the north end of the island - and I'm not going to take several bus/subway rides in 30C weather for one freaking donut. Even if it IS a Krispy Kreme.

Eggo Chocolate Chip waffles (at least in Canada) are NOT crap. :\ (Except if you want them microwaved with syrup... then regular/blueberry works well.)

Funny fact: Fluid never really fills me up. Or at least, I can't use it as a reasonable substitute for food if I'm hungry.

Well maybe you'd get lucky and you'd get a weak one from next door or something like that. :\

I don't think you can secure anything at hospitals around here, but then again they don't want you to stay long either. :\ Recover from your surgery, and as soon as you feel a bit better, get out.

.....NEVER?!? They don't... um... sell boxes of frozen waffles in Australia? Or even have little fast food-ish waffle kiosks?

I find that absolutely shocking and unbelieveable.
