| Cena's still fine on the mic. It's his in-ring that's the big problem, and once people realize that I don't think he's going to draw like they want him to. :\ Big mistake putting the title on him... if anything, they should have JBL win the tournament, then have him beat Cena - but only be a transition champ, dropping to someone like Eddie. I figured Chelsea would take Arsenal last year.  I had them in the final, I think... then again, nobody saw Porto and Monaco coming.Would be funny to see Mourinho win the CL two straight years with two different teams. I don't think that's ever been done before... definitely not in CL days. |

| There's also local factors to take into consideration. For example, the Bloc Quebecois only runs in Quebec and won 54 seats last election - however, since they don't run anywhere else in the country, they only had 12.4% of the vote. The Green Party had 4.3% of the vote, but didn't win any seats. That's what happens in this type of system. (And the British election will be more confusing next month with almost twice as many ridings to keep track of...) |

That looks like typical American suburbia.  My street's normal, but without all that green space. :\ Maybe I'll snap a picture during the week - albeit NOT from the roof.  Never head up there. |

| OK. It's Friday night. Internet was down for 90 minutes. Colleen has to figure out what to do to pass the time. Does he: A) Sit down and watch some TV B) Actually study for his two tests next week C) Load up his Football Manager 2005 editor and rename as many leagues as possible for realism so that he can start a new game, then once that's done play some Super Metroid ...I'll give you a hint. It's not A or B. |

I was around on the net in 1998... of course, not much was going on. :\ Aside from being on some discussion lists that averaged 200-300 messages a day, the net wasn't exactly that friendly a place. |
 (And by that I mean IM was still in its infancy and that. And I *hated* ICQ with a passion.)

600,000 was fine but I think Sony was disappointed with that figure. They probably wanted 1,000,000 to fly off the shelves in the first three days, and the system basically took time to move. It took around 9 days for a store near me to move all of their first shipment of units. |
Any idea how many units were pre-ordered for the launch?
