Looks like it's going to be officially called Xbox360 according to British sources. Personally, I think the name sounds awful although the color scheme (platinum white) sounds very nice. |
 Microsoft shows first on May 12, then Sony on the morning of the 16th, and finally Nintendo afterwards. Originally it was going to be Nintendo then Sony, but Sony decided to get a jump on Nintendo. I think Nintendo prefers having the last word though.

I haven't heard anything about it, but 17, 18... what's the big deal? I think it's fine as-is at 17, because then the Adults Only (AO) rating, which is 18+, goes right out the window. (Why have two ratings meaning the same thing?) |

You have to keep the AO rating since that's the only way to distinguish between "Mature" games and pornfests. :\ |
That employee wasn't stupid - he was just doing his job, and he might have been the ONLY guy at Wal-Mart who was doing it.  Still, it was the right move *given* what the law says.

If this scandal somehow results in a Harper government, I'm jumping out of it even though it's only a few feet off the ground. (Note that if it would be a Belinda government, I wouldn't be as dismayed, but they blew THAT chance.) Gut feeling is that the Liberals escape with a minority government again if we have the expected June election - only way we avoid that is if the other parties don't like the poll results in the next couple of weeks or don't feel confident. I'm surprised at 19% for the NDP though. Geeeez.

Yes, BS games could end up being VERY complex in figuring out exactly what the hell was going on at times - especially when the same 2-3 stages kept repeating themselves with no rhyme or reason. :\ |
Fyxe: Sounds more like a game Nintendo would use for a competition, although the extra quirks sound interesting - and I'm always a sucker for games that focus on scores.

There's no period of "no activity", someone's always posting. Even on slow days. Trust me, I've never seen a near-static day when the server's been up 24/7.

Just an aside question, since the computer store at Concordia sells a *lot* of Apple items and I'm sure they do a good deal of business... How long does it take for Apple to have the OS updated on their Macs? Could someone walk into an Apple retailer the day of Tiger's release and get it pre-loaded, or would they be given a free upgrade CD, or... |
