| Yeah, it's really old... "Concept" art is just that, and we probably won't have a clear idea as to what it looks like until E3 - and even then we might only get a prototype or might just get to see the controller while the console sits under a black cloak. |

| I think that for a concept, the "PS3" looks very nice. Not beautiful or anything like that, but certainly different - and I wouldn't put it past any of the new systems to have wireless controls. |

| I think that's as large as they could get the screen in terms of both design and media playback - the UMD's are only 1.8GB at the moment so you have to avoid blocky images. The games AREN'T that bad for a launch lineup, I've said that before. There's nothing huge, but there should be one or two games that suit your tastes. |

It's pretty much like MIDI files.  I think NSF's/SPC's/etc. are a real grey area, but Nintendo would be more concerned about emulating the games rather than the music. I wouldn't be surprised if the composers of the tracks really didn't give a crap. |

| Well, they're an upgrade from Darknuts... or a more grown-up version of them. :\ That's what I based my theory on but thanks for clearing up that. I think it was either King Yoshi or some really, REALLY obscure monster - and to be honest, if only one rank fell victim to a lack of ideas, then I think Acmlm did well. |

| I loved when Britain was first getting hooked up to the Internet... Wasn't it by the *minute* they were charged? And nothing small or anything either - a few pence a minute if I recall correctly. I don't think bulletin boards were THAT popular over there. :\ |

By "quite clear" I think he means that Nintendo's taken no action against distributors of those formats, nor have they referenced them in any of their official documents/FAQ's. I think they know about them, but either they don't want to pursue it or they honestly don't have any problems with the format. |
Or there's something screwy with the law. :\ One of those.

Hopefully this is just an isolated incident - it's great to make fun of after the fact, but one day one of these scares is going to have some weight to it.

Anyways, if the reviews say it's a ticking time bomb then avoid it. Odds are if it ends up being good, someone will release an unofficial clean version of it. If not, then it's not worth the time.

| From what I read, Nintendo and Microsoft have nothing to worry about - Nintendo was smart enough to license the technology when the N64 Rumble Pak was released, while Microsoft was threatened with a lawsuit but ended up just licensing the technology instead. | ||||||||

 One of the few games that we can bug pretty much anyone on the board to play. And if you're still confused... If you've played or seen Tron, you'll recognize the game right away. If not... Think a high-speed version of Nibbles. | ||||
