EVERYONE used Yahoo in the mid-90's, but back then you had like 7-8 search engines that were widely used.

 Lots of magazines have strange dates - issues for a particular month being released in the previous one for instance.

 I've only eaten the small versions and I assume that's all there is in Britain... right?  Cream Egg is a constant here in Canada, every store carries them. Same with the oh-so-scrumptious Mini Eggs by Cadbury.Too bad we don't have Marks & Spencer in Canada anymore.

Well, the new "deadline" is May 1. It's not a real deadline but it's a good time to have a deal done so that the draft, promotions, season ticket sales, etc. can start going on. The longer it goes after that date, the harder a sell next season's going to be. |

It's simple logic. Obviously 0 votes = voter apathy = invalid vote.(Trust me, I go to university. I KNOW what invalid votes and voter apathy are. )

| P2P networks are usually a godsend for old shareware stuff, Taryn. To clarify the Nukem/Nukum confusion from 3D Realms themselves: There is frequently a great deal of confusion over the correct spelling of one of Apogee's most prized characters, Duke Nukem. The original spelling for the name was "Duke Nukem"; however, during the code fix stage between v1.0 and v2.0 of the original game, Apogee found a character overseas named "Duke Nukem" that was thought to be copyrighted. So, for v2.0 of the original Duke game, the name was changed to "Duke Nukum." Then, during the programming of the next Duke Nukem game (Duke Nukem II), it was discovered that the character they found overseas was not copyrighted after all -- and so the original name was reinstated. "Duke Nukem" is also the spelling used in all successive games that featured the character. |

| Not sure if Mozilla changed the name from Bird to Fox with a new version release or on the fly. I'd strongly suspect the former. Yahoo's still a good search, I sometimes use it in the RARE cases that I can't find what I want through Google... I mean, being #2 isn't *that* bad even if your #1 competitor can't really be stopped at this point in time. Best of the rest. |
