| And let's add one more twist... - The NHL offered a hard salary cap yesterday at $40m, not involving linkage. They got off that finally. - The NHLPA countered with a $52m... hard salary cap. This is the first time the NHLPA has offered to take a salary cap. - The NHL refused the proposal. Now, obviously there IS room to do something today if the NHLPA is willing to take the cap finally... And if the season's cancelled, no sweat. My feeling is that if they're willing to go down that route, there'll be something in a matter of time. |

| ShoPro dubbing is done in Canada from what I read. In other words, a Canadian TV station could claim Naruto as Canadian content, thus not adding it to their foreign quota. I don't think the dub will be necessarily bad but these are extremely early days. |

Trust me, I've read some pretty stupid decisions made by Microsoft regarding Windows XP, and this strikes me as another one... maybe not stupid in terms of law, but definitely in execution. People who want it will end up downloading it through Windows Update. End of story.

I preferred the original Star Fox; the game hasn't gotten terrible reviews but nothing glowing or anything like that. I do like the various side quests and unlockables, however. Leave it to Namco to come up with some smart ideas there.

This isn't Otakon.I'd consider any non-tech demo SM128 screens to be bull until the next game's officially announced. Hopefully in 3 months of course.

I wasn't advocating pirating DS games once an emulator comes out, but let's be honest; I think GBA emulation was possible after the first 20 ROM dumps or so. We'll hit 2,000 dumps this year. The effect of early emulation isn't exactly that bad; besides, we still need to see what the DS requirements will be. Nobody will upgrade their PC just to use an emulator. |
