The fact that anyone would consider eating high school meatloaf strikes me as scary rather than odd.

Course, there were times where people swore they saw the pasta move...

I always came with a bagged lunch.

Either it's an old game machine, OR... I'd dare you to try install XP on it with SP2 and all. It only took me 5 hours to get SP2 onto my Celeron 300, so you'd take... at least 12 I'd say.

...I was sitting in front of THIS computer, Hiryuu.

Thankfully the USB adaptor for the router WORKS on that... surprised the hell out of me. And it picks up an excellent signal too.

I need my Celery (which I named as such - so it's funny to see "celery" in the router list) so that my PARENTS can use the Internet and that.

Trust me, I'd rather toss it.

See, at Concordia you have many options. You have a Tim Hortons and a Pizza Pizza in the Library Building and both Starbucks and Java U in the Hall Building. Plus you have Burger King, McDonalds and a few other restaurants less than 5 minutes away, and PLENTY of coffee houses.

I always had a sandwich, some vegetables, juice and a dessert. That was enough to get me through the day.

I dunno how I could classify any of you... but there's SEVERAL people at school who think I look like their friend "X" from "Y". (I've heard Ontario in general, Guelph, Toronto...)

*ahem*

I have the over/under on it blowing up with XP installed at 3 months. Apparently it ran fine this morning but it took 15 minutes to load.

I remember the queues, we had them in the American Open Beta at one point due to demand. They weren't so long then but I get the idea of what it is that they're doing.

Of course, even if I can get the game soon, the fact that Blizzard's putting a temporary stop on new copies might make it hard.

One school around here had a Pizza Hut a few years ago. I think it was out on the other end of the island.

There's a bunch of chains that operate cafeterias in schools here, but the downside of that is the fact that they all serve the same crap.

At least you don't remember the old board days, where MANY people got away with SF/SB spam.

Nada.

Now, in music class back in high school, we were forced to play the drums. That was OK... not OK that we had to come in an hour BEFORE school started to learn them, but it was only for 2 weeks or so. I never followed up on it.

Pepsi is between $1-$1.50 in the machines here, depending whether you go for a can or a bottle. I don't think anything on the vending machines exceeds $1.50.

I honestly don't have a preference. I really don't look out for used game deals, so I'll just shop at whichever store is selling a game I want at a good price.

I liked the whole CV trilogy for the GBA. I'm a sucker for Metroid-style games and I loved SotN, so... Pretty much a no-brainer there.

I honestly wouldn't mind if they had two branches of CV games - the action-based ones and the adventure-oriented ones. I think it would be pretty tough to pull out a old-school CV on a next-gen system, though.

Oh, the information was out there for people who read certain magazines. Absolutely. (EGM used to be exxxxxxcellent with showing a bunch of Japanese stuff we never had a chance of seeing.)

I think as soon as FF3 comes out for the DS, we can finally do away with the FF3/j referencing.

Nobody. The ACS would be over and posting would drop by 50% and everyone would be sad.

Nothing's wrong with Doom 3. Even though I've found it slow going, it still has a hell of an atmosphere.

Kitten Yiffer: Well, those two .wad files are the ORIGINAL works of id, so it's pretty hard to make a case for them being freeware. The SOURCE of Doom is.
