Ideal situation: Go out and have fun with Chrys and her friends. Can't happen because she already has plans for a girl's night tonight. Less than ideal but still good situation: Have the house to myself so that I can relax and actually watch Witch Hunter Robin on YTV tonight (since the INFINITE wisdom of the programming schedulers states that December 31 is a great time to run new back-to-back episodes of all the anime shows on the channel) and just have fun. Actual situation: Stay at home in front of my TV all night, downloading the episodes of WHR I'll miss instead. (I have no intent of watching Van Helsing with my parents. Yech.) |

The States went up to $350 million today to answer the "stingy" calls. Canada's given over $30 million but will match all donations made by Canadian citizens themselves to boot. Funny, I never saw India as adopting isolationism. |

Downloading the .exe itself? Use Flashget or something like that. The patcher crashed once on me but it simply resumed from where it left off without any problems. |

It's mature content ONLY if you don't download the "clean" versions though. Of course, the mixes themselves kick ass anyways. |

Oh yeah. Definite match of the year contender right there. Seems that SD gets to flesh out their side of the card before RAW thanks to the PPV next Sunday, although we should find out VERY quickly who the next contender to the belt'll be. I'd love them to not announce ANY Rumble names, because if they show 30 then you know there's no surprises. |

Cactus/Lime? I know that shandy exists, which is basically lemonade + beer, but that combo doesn't make any sense. |

I remember that thread too, Christi. Now *that* was fun. Most of those users are lazy, of course. Except the posers. :\ |

Actually, by "getting forced into a war situation" I mean that I expand my empire so far and then if I want to move anywhere, I have to encroach an enemy unit. Fun.

*IF* that's still the first shipment then I can see why the PSP only sold that many units if Sony still hasn't shipped out the second batch. Now, in the unlikely event there's more in stores now... guh. |

I downloaded the game *and* patched it. Now all that's left is for the server to come online.

USA Version International Version Some highlights... USA: - "wallpaper" beating "kazaa" = thumbs up. - Pokemon will never die. - Hello Kitty beats out DBZ in cartoons. - What's Orlando Bloom got that I don't? International: Australia: If the Iraq war's not going on, you're focused on the cricket. Yeah. Brazil: Hello Kitty just start airing for you guys? Canada: Inuyasha continues to take over our fair country. China: I'm scared at seeing "thesis writing" on your top 10 list. Denmark: ...At least I know you guys like Pokemon and Nokia. Finland: Runescape, Harry Potter, Sauna and 7 other insanely complex things. France: For a second, I thought "mappy" referred to the famous Namco character. Germany: You guys are soooo stuck in early 2004. Italy: Beckham ahead of Totti. Oh dear. Japan: Apparently there's a shortage of maps. And Gackt still rules. Netherlands: ...Garfield as the #4 most searched movie? The hell? I won't go into putting Cristiano Ronaldo and Beckham ahead of Ruud. Norway: DC++ is a terrible file sharing system. Get with the times. Russia: Sharapova only at #3... I expected her at #1 to be honest. South Korea: ...Oh, that's where Sharapova topped the list. And apparently they still think using Google's the best way to find MP3's. Spain: Is it *that* hard to remember www.el-mundo.es? United Kingdom: Same as Spain, just replace www.el-mundo.es with news.bbc.co.uk. |

Doesn't help that Microsoft's not going to update IE until Longhorn comes out. Safari for Mac users as well in terms of browser selection. |

Sometime tomorrow. And I wouldn't look at midnight Eastern since I think Gravity's offices are on the West Coast. 3 AM at the earliest, but I won't stay up solely for that. |

The Google Zeitgeist is a way for Google to show what's popular in various countries/subjects. They usually make one once a month, but the big one comes at the end of the year. I'd like to see the image query Zeitgeist. |

Nah, Sony's said that it's slow going getting all the units ready. Therefore, if the PSP sold out with those units sold during the week, you can't blame them for finishing 4th. |

At least New Year's Eve itself is fairly dull for you, Milly. Tomorrow... um... best not to get our hopes up but who knows. |

Is that GIF from Nintendo's old website circa 1998 or so? No wonder it looks so fugly. I knew all along it wasn't bad since it wasn't closed yet. |

It's nice to see people still value their own computer's needs above a P2P network's needs. Kitten Yiffer: Maybe your results weren't interesting enough. |

You weren't around for the Wooster days, Kitten Yiffer. New Year's was nothing compared to a couple of those. |
