Sadly, I don't think that would work. Some people need an intensive 6-month course in the subject. |

It's a VERY sad day.
The plus side is that there ARE a bunch of trackers/torrent sites out there, but now you're likely going to have to look at 3-4 different sites for what you want rather than 1 all-inclusive site. |

Hey, I've never seen anyone try to remake the Bible.
That probably tells you all you need to know right there. |

Legion: Oh, that's Toronto. Don't take them as an example of how the rest of Canada acts.
They once called in the NATIONAL GUARD when they got a foot of snow in the city. |

I could look it over when you're done if you want...
I don't want to brag, of course, but when needed I can BS extremely well. |

Oh, I figured that out because that's why I added the second part in.
It was a few years ago, but they did have a snowfall (less than what Montreal can get) and flipped out. Hilarity ensued. |

Actually, Kitten Yiffer was RIGHT about the ACS in case anyone was wondering.
The ACS really isn't a problem right now, and there were no long-term benefits that came with canning it - so it's basically a "bonus" on the board. Plus until recently, activity has been pretty sad otherwise. |

You'd be surprised how many Grade 10-11 students don't know grammar from a hole in the head.
(At least they've started sneaking it into the curriculum at my old high school, but some people... eeeech. And we're talking the IB program here. For the smart kids. ) |

Bush's second Person of the Year award, the first one coming in 2000.
2000, 2004... I smell a pattern.
I dunno who else would be deserving this year but don't forget that Time is American based and that DOES determine who wins the awards (be they positive or negative). I'll at least give them credit for choosing a person this year. (Sorry, but "The American Soldier" is not a person and giving the award to a group of people/collective is asinine in my opinion. I would have thought they'd give it to Bush last year.)
Oh, and Canada's person of the year? Maher Arar.
...Who, you ask?
Syrian-born Maher Arar was detained while in a new York airport back in September 2002, on suspicion of involvement with the al Qaeda terror network.
He was then deported to Syria, where he was allegedly tortured before his release last year.
"If Arar is a terrorist, he is unlike any other. In contrast with other suspects dispatched to harsh justice, Arar didn't vanish into oblivion in his Middle East cell. Nor, after his release, did he recoil from public view," writes Time's Canadian Bureau Chief Steven Frank.
"Instead Arar, who has a modest home in Ottawa, has stepped into the spotlight, emerging as a vocal proponent of human rights in Canada, a symbol of how fear and injustice have permeated life in the West since 9/11."

Can't make a judgement until I have it.
But as far as a "status symbol" and things along those lines, I'd have to agree. Reproduction, sure... occasional pleasure, why not... fitting in with your peers, no. |

I mean nobody's tried to remake the basic foundations of the Bible in the last few hundred years - adding in extra books, tweaking around stories, etc.
The basic structure has stayed the same. |

Some people like the taste of coffee, regardless of what it does to them.
DV: You should have something like coffee ice cream or yogurt. |

Well, they're up to 10 and I have no idea why they did that if the deal was set. Maybe concerns about a player or two in the deal?
Wouldn't be the offseason without some wacky deal like this though, regardless of who's involved. |
