The problem with the hardcore matches was that they were fun at first... then cool... then monotonous. How many ways can you hit someone with a cookie sheet?
See, if Boston wins I can be happy since the Curse will be done with and Pedro gets a World Series ring. But if St. Louis wins, then Walker gets a ring and I'm extremely happy for him.
Well, you have 8 distinct races, a bunch of distinct classes, different professions, a huge game words, 1,000+ quests... Yeah, I'd say you'd get your money's worth for a few months at least; and then longer when the inevitable expansion pack comes out.
8/10's fair for Katamari Damacy I think. They're at least acknowledging the fact it's a good budget game.
The PM2 rating does surprise me because most of the reviews out there are in the 8.0-9.0 range; come on, you think Nintendo's going to screw up a guaranteed 1,000,000+ best seller?
Looking back, some people dismiss it as too hard, but the first couple of levels are all right. It's just that it has a really, REALLY steep learning curve. (Trust me, I thought it would be decent since the first level was fairly easy. Wrong. )
Neko: Isn't that the final level? I remember NP doing the map of the place... GEEZ. Longest vertically-scrolling level I've seen in an NES game.
I want to see how GTA Advance turns out... That'll be interesting to say the least.
I don't think Rockstar's a bad company (aren't their Midnight Club racing games decent?) but they at least HAVE a solid hit. Where was that for Acclaim the past few years?
