We didn't have "study hall", but for us honor students (...) we could leave class if nothing was going on (read: finished all our work OR there was a free period) and use our Gold Card to go to the library.
Of course, if it happened at last period then we just said "screw it" and left school like good honor students.  |

I'll believe the Lesnar rumor when I see it on a credible site. So far, I have not.
He's still working out and hopes to get onto the Vikings practice squad sometime this year - or head to NFL Europe after this season. |

1) Bettman's not the problem. He did a great job with the NBA when he was the commish there (basically turning the league around) and he's done a good job in the NHL overall.
2) Expansion's not going to happen anytime soon. Contraction hasn't happened in the NHL in years but if the lockout stretches out we might see teams folding. Relocation's always a possibility and is preferable to expansion if a market's dried out.
3) Then we end up with low scoring games and no evolution in gameplay. The rules aren't the main issue in the CBA talks anyways.
4) The rookie thing's going to be in the new CBA no matter what, but I agree on capping PLAYER salaries - the proposed $39m salary cap is absurd. |
