Depends on the game. Games that are both single/multi player can be discussed in either General Gaming or here.

If a game's online-only though, it goes here for sure.

I'd consider it if they had alternate payment plans. Something like a gamecard...

How long until there's a private server? XD

No beta today but they're really close now - when Blizzard gets into "tease" mode, they're close.

My bet would be Friday. Thursday would be too soon UNLESS the beta server's fully functional. I can't see Blizzard releasing it Friday unless everyone's going to be working non-stop through the weekend.

What I could see, however, is a release of the e-mails/client on Friday but the server only going up on Monday. Gives people time to download the large file.

I'll probably head in 15-20 minutes before the deadline. Just in case.

I'm not expecting a 4-hour session (GOD NO!) but a quick game or two shall be fun.

You guys have weird stores.

My EB is no different though. Last time I went there were two GIRLS working there.

They seemed pretty knowledgeable too.

Oh yeah, stick me into a situation where I have to win a 3-way dance to advance to the semi-finals.

Should be fun if nothing else.

MM2 was the best, and not because it was easy or anything - at the time, it was revolutionary. It got huge press and showed that this franchise was here to stay - plus the great graphics/sound (at the time) didn't hurt.

MM3 is second-best for me - decent challenge and it was really long considering a lot of the games at the time.

Not many people CAN play burned GCN games... Isn't it possible though? I know it's a far way off but since they can rip the games...

Dolphin can run a few GCN games at good speed though. 2D ones mainly, but still.

Imoto - That should be enough to run most GBA games at full speed.

I can get 250% speed... but then again, I have sound at 44KHz and everything.

Nesticle is still good *IF* you have a POS PC. I'm talking 486 level here.

FCE Ultra... I've only played with it a bit but it's OK. I need to use it more. Nester is also good but I have so many NES emus...

At least it's good to see that there's a bunch of GOOD options available for the NES. Not like some other systems where one emulator has a monopoly.

Technically Chad was right on time - by the British standard.

Happy birthday, Kasumi. Have a great one!

I don't actually. My mom has one but she only uses it if she goes out - and even then it's only to call to say that she's coming home late or to check something.

There's around 348583 different plans in Canada - all of them have their own little gimmicks though.

Low #'s signify staff position now. XD

Seriously... I dunno. Usually when the person's posted for a few weeks regularly and has integrated themselves with the community, I can wipe the newbie tag away from their faces.

Now if they keep acting like n00bs after a few months... Oy.

Kasumi - Shouldn't they know better? You are their senior...

The good thing about bus routes here is that they're on time 99% of the time. The only problem is when school lets out - a few buses are on school routes so sometimes there's not enough at the terminal - as a result, they tend to skip routes ever so often.

Some people don't have credit cards and that though - or others simply want to pay a flat fee for a year's hosting. And I'm sure places offer deals like that if you look.

If you want something basic just for a personal site without any scripting, then go with a free site. Don't pay $5 a month if you're only going to update once a week and you only get 50 visitors/day. But to each his own.
