Game shows aren't really rigged.

In the 1950's, some shows WERE rigged and it nearly killed the genre when that info came out.

Kasumi: It's legal but if you don't have a region-free CD player...

I know you can set up a DVD-ROM drive on your PC to do that, but it's a bit harder with a DVD unit, no?

Erm... by "spree" I meant 30 posts in just over an hour.

I wasn't talking about the day itself. God no.

Kitten Yiffer: The last time we were over 800 was in June.

They should go after someone like JYD if they want a hard-working community-minded player.

If they lose the Kobe sweepstakes to... gah... the Clippers, it's over.

Dibiase?

He was never always going after the world title. He had his little runs as challenger and a few feuds with Hogan but that's about it.

Some DVD players don't have region codes, yeah. But when we were shopping for ours, we couldn't find any good ones like that.

Not like I plan to import any DVD's anytime soon though.

Yeah, you pretty much need to modchip the DVD player, no? Lot easier for the PC...

Look how many shareware games id released in 1991.

Lots of them were good (especially the Keen series) but I guess it was easier to chug out 2D games than 3D ones.

I like the CM (soon to be FM) series of soccer games, and since they cover a wide scope, they contain bugs - but the designers usually have a patch ready to go on release date, and support the product well.

*loves having pop-up blocking and a huge blocked hosts file*

Drag: Like I said, MOST. As for ZD, dunno what happened there. They still seem like the kind of site that would try to get rid of that inconvenience.

Must be one hell of a job code-wise. NO$GBC was small too but... I would have expected maybe 100-150kb. This shatters that.

Kirby seems to run just fine on it. I really need to check my VBA sound settings, because NO$ is killing it.

Yeah, that's obvious. I think.

Just got confused over whether new registrations have the 14-day trial only or that level limitation.

On the to-do list for the moment.

The requirements floating around are insane but those apparently HAVE been toned down somewhat.

Basically if you have a decent graphics card and processor, you should be able to run the game fine at low detail - which still looks great. Of course, if you are a rich little bugger and have the cash for a 3 GHz chip and a high-end graphics card (even with 512MB)...

CM = Championship Manager.
FM = Football Manager (new series being made by SI, makers of the original CM games. Eidos now has the rights to the CM name but not the code.)

GB carts are rarer but if you're lucky you can find a good one like that. Most pirate carts that you see now for the NES have those CRAPPY fighting games.

I'd like to find one of those joysticks in stores. Not too common here.

RUMOR has it that the DS price will be $179 American. That's really not too bad considering the technology.

Imoto - Excellent. Martin is a very good programmer indeed.

It'll likely only be updated when the need warrants, so don't exactly expect skins and that - that's not really part of the NO$ policy.

We had a ton of red and yellow chairs.

Yeah... Forget excitement, try looking at those drab colors all day.

I'll say that a bully did that to the kid, just to make it slightly less humiliating.
