| The sad thing? That's kinda true.  Actually, a lot of Sympatico users kept pestering Blizzard after the first round of invites were sent because our ISP blocks certain ports and... you know.  But that didn't mean squat. |

 It also depends on posting though as well... If someone only had 2-3 posts for a long period of time (while still lurking) and then suddenly became more visible, then I can see them getting votes. |

They wanted to make headlines so they did something outlandish like this.Of course, there's MANY other, less illegal ways to get your message across effectively through the media. But obviously they didn't want to put much thought into this.

So... let me get this straight. You want to watch Atlantis because you've never seen SG-1?  I'm sure SG-1 is on some channel here (Space?) but it originally was on Friday nights. I remember seeing a few episodes from Season 1. Then it got shuffled around the schedule ending up in the late night hours... and I promptly forgot about it. Actually saw an ad for Atlantis while watching the Olympic Trials on NBC tonight.  It looked OK, I guess... I might watch an episode if it airs here but I'm not a huge sci-fi nut.
