| Can we go a week without this question? It seems this question is asked every week. No, you can't insert custom music into SMW unless: A) Blackhole releases his editor, Solar Soundtrack B) You know how the music in SMW works. If you can't do B, then it would probably be easier to wait for A. Who knows when that will be, but he is just fixing some bugs if I remember correctly... |

Funny thing is that other servers work fine, but not irc.acmlm.org. It won't let me connect at all... EDIT: I should have followed Kitten Yiffer's link... now I feel like an idiot... | Uhhh... well, in Kindergarten I wanted to be a zookeeper (I have no idea why...), but then in grade 3 (I think), it hit me. I picked up a book of the very easy programming language BASIC and from that day on, I wanted to be a computer programmer. Then a few years after that, I went more specific and now want to be in the video game industry for the fact that there aren't as many good games as there could be. Where would I work at though? Well... uhhh... Nintendo if I am lucky, but I might just branch off and make a company myself... Until then, I am better off being a busser at Red Lobster here in Ocala, Florida... |

| Hmmm... 2020, eh? That would make me 31 years old... wow... Well, for one thing, some of the members would have left and never returned... Rom hacking would consist of hacking XBox, Gamecube, and PS2 games. The NES would probably have been all figured out, everyone used it to the limit, and would never want to be hacked because it is way too easy and N64 hacking would have a SM64 editor just like Lunar Magic. There would have to be fingerprint identity just to log in. Uber awesome security system! Every member right now would be very senile unless they are under the age of 20 right now. My user name would stay the same. Why change it when it is ok? |

| ...backwards support, WIFI out of the box (which would allow the DS to go online), ANIMAL CROSSING ALL OVER THE WORLD!? Nintendo really is surprising me right now. I just want to play Animal Crossing globally. I can't wait for that. Oh, and the Revolution sounds very awesome! I want to get that as soon as it comes out. | Hmmm... well, it flashes between two different palettes. All you have to do is change some values to change it to one palette instead. It would flash, but like you would notice it switching from palette A to A... ...but don't ask me where you would change it... probably deals with sprite data... since a star is a sprite... |

| Alright! This is really awesome! I could edit the static tiles in a hex editor, but I couldn't move them (don't know why, really...). This makes it even easier... to some extent. Although I would soon like to see the other things unhardcoded... Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (latest addition) Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga Timesplitters 2 Advance Wars 2 Dance Dance Revolution Halo 2 I play Wario Ware everywhere I go. KH:CoM I got a few days ago because my brother forbids me playing the PS2 one because I am farther than him (even though he is farther on Resident Evil 4 than me and I don't care). M&L I am still playing through. Timesplitters 2 has a good map editor and I can make some really cool maps. Advance Wars 2 I am playing multiplayer at school with other people. DDR... well... uhhh... my brother just got it. And Halo 2 I still play multiplayer... I'll add to it later... |

| ...I got two words for you. You are freaking amazing. Seriously, you found the data for this game and made an editor. Thing is this isn't some platformer but a 3D game. That is a challenge. However, I don't like Shockwave for editing... don't know why... I'll wait on the stand-alone. Good work, though, giving this result. | I would really like to help you with this, JJ. I know some simple tricks with making levels and would be glad to help you with this. About my previous work, though... uhh... let's see... First was Mario's Fun Levels... which was a level edit... no new graphics or anything, but it was concentrated around levels. I need to find the demo again and I will send it to you. Next was Cpubasic's Land. I had more creative ideas there, but I really hated it. It had only one good level, and that was Stick Figure Hills. That was my first full level change and I liked it. And now I have been working on Basic Land, which I think is turning out ok... but I hate doing that isometric level... making the tiles is a pain, but worth it in the long run. I am also good with tile placements. If you look at my sidewalk tileset (minus the platforms on the fence): That there are a few different tiles to make up each segment of the sidewalk. Plus, to top it off, the sidewalk uses 2 palettes, one for the sidewalk itself (and the curb) and one for the holes and sidewalk fading into the background. So hopefully this might be enough to allow me to at least design levels for you... however, I could not guaruntee that I will be constantly working on levels since I have a job also... although I have a free weekend this week... |
