Shortest: Super Mario World. I got it for the GBA (well... my DS) and beat it in... uhh... 100% in about 1 hour. That is after beating Bowser a bunch of times. Longest: Animal Crossing. Don't ask why. Easiest: Kirby's Dream Land. Very simple and only four short levels. I still liked it though... Hardest: Varies. Viewtiful Joe and Battletoads. VJ is just tough. Battletoads... I remember playing a while ago and well... not getting past level 2... or was it level 1?

I am kind of leaning towards this. There are some staff members that could stay but others should not be staff. Plus, there are others out there who deserve to be staff just because of... well, others just deserve it. I would like the reconstruction, but some people should stay staff of their domain.

-A Ninja Gaiden editor (I mean come on! The data is at the beginning of the rom... and I hate editing in hex when I can't see how it works...) -An editor for SM64 -Starfox editor -Some sort of Kirby game editor (I don't care which one, as long as it is one of the platform ones) -Me understanding more complex ASM stuff -Me actually getting BMF's hdma code to work -Eggvine to support more features -Most of what other people said

I believe my nearby KB Toys is already out of business. There were a swarm of people last time I saw and most of it was empty. The Toys R' Us nearby I heard is going to close too due to lack of sales. Seems kind of sad, really... Although at Red Lobster, I usually see kids come in with either SPs or DSs and only the babies have toys. Seems like technology is getting to the kids' heads. Either that, or parents are using video games to make the kids shut up and not annoy them. That one is a possibility.

| Rhino's Video Games. They are only in the southeast, though, but the staff actually knows more about video games. Really nice and has stuff from NES to Sega Saturn to N64 to whatever. Really nice. | |||

Hmmm... a Perfect Dark image editor? Interesting... although this sounds really nice, N64 roms on my computer run at too slow of a rate, plus the fact I could not control it in an emulator. Though this seems very cool. I would like to do some stuff for it, too. Even if it is just for graphics, it is nifty. (edited by cpubasic13 on 02-04-05 04:00 AM)

The only X game that I owned was just X. I even remember a password I used all the time. It didn't give me it all, but it gave me almost everything. X2 and X3 were good, too. However, I have yet to play the other ones. I might get this. It just depends if I have money...

Originally posted by windwaker You talking about for the downloadable content? If you are, be dissappointed. In an article in Electronic Gaming Magazine, it says it is quite impossible to do single player campaigns. It might be possible to do weapons. And maps... well duh! I hope this means the maps Hang 'em High and Wizard (from Halo) are brought to Halo 2. I really hope. I liked both of them. Wizard had all the teleporters. Why am I talking about those maps? They were mentioned in the article too. They didn't look good in Halo 2 when they brought them over. Maybe Feb. 9th is... when they take the old Halo maps and make them for Halo 2? Or better yet, a map editor? Nah, that is too much... |

Well, if they say it is like FCEUXD for the SNES, then I will take it. Time to make some ASM hacks without the long hassle... hopefully... *downloads tool* EDIT: Uhhh... one problem: The format of the download won't open on my computer. Do you use WinRAR, Winzip, or what to open it? Yeah... it sounds stupid... (edited by cpubasic13 on 02-11-05 04:25 AM)

Some bugfixes are for the sprites that have special things to them (Hammer Bros. throw rate is either fast or slow, depending on the x-coordinate and the Pitchin' Chuck throws 2, 3, 4, or 6 balls depending on the x-coordinate) so if you need some bugs, Fu, there are some (well, technically they are not bugs, but just some touchups...). Well, what I was thinking was that there was a block in Blocktool that changes the palette to a certain level's palette when touched. All you would probably have to do is alter it to where you change it to load both palette and graphic set from that level. Just a thought, though, and I highly doubt it is possible...

I messed with the Debugger for a bit (just been busy working) and I think it is an awesome utility for rom hacking. For the whole header/interleaved thing, the only reason it would matter is if you knew it was doing that. I see absolutly no harm done to the game and when a person goes to play a hack, they really don't care what has been done to the rom as long as they can get it to work and I can edit it however I want to edit it. Good work, Geiger. I hope to see more interesting work from you.

Ummm... wait a minute... when Kyouji and I edited the fading colors maybe there was a value to set it to not fade at all... now if only I could remember what that offset is and I could probably play around with it. I know it is buried somewhere here... Anyway, I think the black border could be good if you made a widescreen type effect, but the way it is now just doesn't seem too fitting... although without the border is just kind of horrible... looks shoddy... for some reason.

I bought it and am on mission 3 right now and am already enjoying it. The game is fast paced and is not always boring. I yet to try multiplayer, but I will hopefully... if my sister or brother want to play it... Good game... good game. Colleen: People could rent it before today at Blockbuster. I know that much. Don't know about buying it, though...

Wow... wow... That will be a great game, but only if there are enough of them released in the US. I found a F-ZERO AX at one of the Disney hotels, but I didn't have my memory card nor could I find those magnetic cards for it. They better have them for this if it comes in the US. I really would love to play this.

Well, if I may say something, I should say it really shouldn't require ASM... or at least I think it doesn't... It would pretty much be like editing the TSA of something like on the NES. You would have to search for the tiles in a hex editor and then have the tiles made for the ears. I don't know how to search for SNES tiles though, probably depends on the game. Just a thought... correct me if I am wrong...

I agree. The numbers are bad for a Zelda game, but good for some technological game... maybe... Other than that stupid complaint, I think it is great work. Really nice and good work with the dungeons (which I still can't make...). Keep it up and hope to see a demo of it soon.

...look, I want a functional editor. Not a crappy editor with a bunch of bugs that can cause a rom to crash. If you want something good, wait patiently for it or do it yourself. People like blackhole are actually helping us and all you can do is try to rush him. That is pretty much what happened with Halo 2 and look at it. More bugs than a insect museum. I know what would happen too if blackhole kept the bugs in it. You would get it, be happy, and then the next day complain about some bugs and tell him to fix them right away or you won't know how to use it and complain it isn't user friendly (who used Eggvine? who complained there are no fancy graphics to help?). Besides, like anyone here cares that the user said there are bugs. You'd still complain about every little bug even if mentioned.

He never promised anything about a release. He said he might release it at that time, but never promised. You have to think about fixing the bugs. I mean, a few bugs that he didn't catch are okay in it, but bugs he knows about he should fix so people don't complain about them. So I say just shut up about it until he decides good and well to release it. Don't rush him...

Ummm... that isn't music, that is sound. And Darkflight, you are wrong. With a little ASM code, you could easily disable every sound in the game if you find all the data for the sound effects. So it would require some work...
