| I saw something on the news about this... actually, a bunch of stuff on this. They were first saying war games were very violent and too realistic. On another day, they said GTA is too violent. They said that GTA should be banned because of its violence. They are not even asking the people who play these video games how they fell when they are playing these games. They go to the "experts" who don't play video games at all. This is BS. | |||

| Ummm... you can use any editor for any game and make it good. Even if it is easy to use, you can make professional stuff, but the occasional idiot uses the editor to show he knows how to use it but not being good at it. Lunar Magic gives me visuals of what I am editing. I can't stare at HEX and see a level. I must have a visual. Then I can easily see a problem in the layout. |

| I was wondering... I usually open up my hack to edit the overworld. I usually use the unhacked SMW for a reference to see how they sometimes do stuff. But... when I open up the original SMW, I press the Overworld Editor in LM and it shows the overworld I was just editing, not the original SMW overworld! I have to exit LM in order to change the overworld. Could this be fixed? |

| Press Control+Shift+Down in the 8x8 editor. This will allow you to scroll down and edit Mario, Yoshi, and some of the animated tiles. You will also have to do this if you want to make ExAnimations. | |||

Just because your graphics are superb doesn't mean that the hack is fun or the level design is good. I can get bored of a hack easily if I see cool graphics being used improperly or used the same way over and over throughout the level. And the worse thing, they say that is their best level! That really makes me mad! Most hacks could be good, but they show really bad design bringing the rating down from a 9/10 to a 4/10... in my opinion. Graphics don't make a hack good. Original level design with a little bit of hex editing can make a hack stand out of the crowd. |

| ANYTHING THAT IS TAKEN FROM VARIOUS VIDEO GAMES, SHOWS, AND MOVIES! It starts with one person to be that name (Sephiroth, for example) then others keep adding numbers at the beginning and end of the same thing (Sephiroth1, Sephiroth39, etc.). I get so confused who is who and I think that it is the same person. That is REALLY annoying! | |||

| The thread on Overused Aliases made me want to ask: Where did your username come from, and why is it your username? My username was first made a long time ago when I found out about Neopets. I wanted to register an account, but didn't know of a name. I figured out my hobbies (computer games) and some other stuff. I used Basic a whole lot then, so I added that to cpu and there, cpubasic, was born... I guess. Later, I decided to add 13, my favorite number. Well, where did your username come from and why? |

| Here is one. If you are going to use ripped graphics, please don't overuse them. I hate to see fifty levels being the same game graphics. Maybe a few levels, but not a whole lot of levels. Progress your hack in difficulty. Start out with the easy levels then move on to harder levels. Let your hardest levels be in the Special World unless you are making it mandatory to go there. |

| Another tip: If you are going to add handmade water, make it animated unless you have some REALLY good reason. Nobody likes a hidden exit. Don't make an exit that looks like the ground unless there is some sort of hint or if it is a secret exit. Try making your own animated graphics. It makes your hack stand out. I usually remember hacks that feature handmade animations. If you are going to use the original graphics, use them in the proper way. They can be easily annoying if not used correctly. Test, test, test! If you have a big idea and start to work on it, work in small changes so you know if it will work at that section. Then build on to it. |

| F-ZERO GX is the best one out of it. It is very fast, you can make your own F-ZERO, and unlock the AX tracks by taking your memory card to the arcade version. Lots of cool stuff in it. I have to vote for it. | |||

| Well, this might help, but... I tried looking up the values for the credits (Trying to change Bowser's name to George), but the only things I found were Valley of Bowser levels. It changed the name to George... There was some extra data in between the offsets. I think that they may be the levels values, but I am not sure... Try looking up the HEX of a level name, such as if a level is called ABC, look up 00 01 02 and maybe you should see if the data in between is the level data. *goes back to figuring out custom music* |
