My brother owns the game and beat it within a week. It isn't that hard, but it is funny. But this isn't a great rip-off of GTA. The cars handle weird. You don't kill people with guns. You do the same stuff over and over again, just with a different look (Race Skinner to the school and then later in the game race Mr. Smithers to Burns' Mansion.) Not much variety, but this is the best Simpsons game. The graphics are excellent, though. They are near perfect for a Simpsons game.

In conclusion...

Rocks in the dirt. I think cpubasic13 requested this.

Yes I did. Now it looks a little better and detailed. I guess I can try it.

I will have a full review in a moment.

Well, there were some errors, but that may be because I patched the other UMW.

*hits self*

There were a few weird moments, but still, it is cool. Keep up the good work, I guess.

This was a good idea, but now he can't do it...

Anyway, If I am still on the list for a new overworld, take me off of it. I seem to be able to make my own overworld.

The last movie I saw in a theater was Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. That was last month. I don't really go to a theater much. Usually about once every 3-5 months, maybe...

Hmmm... never knew that Gunbound was online and free... I should try it out sometime... maybe...

I know that http://www.gamehippo.com has free games for download. Not all of them are online, but they are all free to download!

Here are some ExGFX I have made. I will upload them to my website in a minute, but here are two pics.

Comment on them while I add the link. It is taking me longer than I though.

1) Extract GFX.
2) Using a graphics editor, find the GFX file in Your_Hack/Graphics.
3) Edit the graphics and save.
4) Open LM and insert graphics.

Hope that helps.

You can't use LM's internal editor. The graphics for Mario are bigger than the editor can handle. You need an external editor.

Use YY-CHR to edit it. Get it at http://www.zophar.net/

Then you should be able to edit the graphics... hopefully.

Everyone: If you have downloaded the Super Mario Land 2 set, please redownload it and use the new Map16 that comes with it. It fixes a lot of errors due to it's rushyness. =P

Those are supposed to be building blocks... or Legos... or Mega-Blocks... or... I can't think of a name.

I am going to work on it some more. Needs some work...

I posted this before, but I just want to add something to it. This could also serve as a code thread, I guess.

(Copied and pasted from help file, word by word and shortened at the end for too many enter presses.)
Overworld Help Menu : About Overworld Editor

F9 was used by the programmer a lot,
to see what the pointers would do.
F8 is a key everyone forgot,
to stop the hack of blue.
Four were the choices in dates,
a fun little game for all.
Three keys there are that still wait,
to hold the sprites in thrall.
Two were the names of girls from beyond,
both pink haired and fair.
One was the title of a movie with Bond,
that made a star appear in the air.

One Editor to rule them all,

one Editor to find them.
One Editor to bring them all,
and in 65816 bind them.

In FuSoYa's Niche,
where the lost key lies.

The end.
No, really!

Let me put down some of the codes that I already know.

Two were the names of girls from beyond,
both pink haired and fair.

Chelsea: Open LM and then open the ROM file. Type in Chelsea (CASE SENSITIVE) and go to the overworld editor.

Chibimoon: Forgot it...

One was the title of a movie with Bond,
that made a star appear in the air.

I forgot this one.

Three keys there are that still wait,
to hold the sprites in thrall.

Sprite Map16. Press Control + Shift + Page Down in Map16. Scroll down past the BG Map16. There is no way to save the sprite Map16... or at least I don't know.
EDIT: Yes you can! Press Control-F9 and it will save to a .m16 file. It will be in the same folder as the ROM itself.

If you can fill in the rest, that would be great.

Nicely done! I wish my overworld was that cool...

Great job! Just make sure your hack isn't about good overworld and bad levels.
